Joint S-Class Mission

Kagura didn't know what she was expecting when she had received an order from her Guild Master to head to Fairy Tail under request of Erza Scarlet. After the war and losing a lot of guildmates, their Master didn't want to take the chance of sending Millianna, despite the other wanting to take the job.

"There's no need for an apology, Scarlet. I much rather take jobs like these to ensure the safety of my guildmates."

She looks the older mage in the eye and gives a nod of her head, if this was an urgent mission labeled S-class urgency, than she will help.

"I'm willing to help with this mission. What's the situation that needs to be handled?"

Must be important if they requested not only an S-Class mage of Fairy Tail, but also Erza requesting specifically for the Ace of her guild instead of the plethora of S-Class mages.

🕯 ❚❙❘ Chico found herself sitting in a rather comfortable chair while she waiting for the other to finish dressing. The establishment seemed high end, armor making was probably a lucrative business. Considering how attentive the clerks were seemed to only add to that thought. She could understand why there was such an effort to make the customers feel comfortable, after all a person was putting their trust and life in the hands of those smiths and designers who made such items.

The spirit mage wasn't one to come here alone. Honestly it was a pure chance that her eyes had caught something in the window long enough for Erza to spot her and invite her in. She of course did not mind, although it seemed one of her ghost friends was even more fascinated that she. He had browsing ever since they entered, her eyes hovering on him more than the merchandise.

  Erza finally emerging from the dressing room pulled her attention away. The comment made was genuine, but she didn't expect it to be thrown back. ❝I don't know... I don't think the whole suited up look works for me.❞ Not to mention the strength one must have to wear those around.

     ❝However...❞ Chico got up from her seat and headed towards her invisible companion, reaching for the spiked boots he had been standing in front of for a while now. Something that looked like a mix of a medieval and gothic aesthetic. ❝You think I could pull these off?❞

    HIS GAZE SHIFTS TO HER   when  shouto  notices  someone  approaching.  there  is  a  moment  of  silence  as  they  stare  at  each  other,  the  small  bird  made  of  ICE  is  slowly  melting  in  his  hands.  then  she  says  it  —  his  magic,  she  says  and  the  boy  looks  down  at  his  hands,  there’s  nothing  left  but  the  water.  it  takes  him  a  few  more  moments  to  think.  the  mind  repeats  her  question,  the  gaze  is  focused  on  one  point.  a  comrade  of  hers,  he  thinks.  is  she  talking  about  gray?

    “ I  know  you. ”  he  says,  meeting  her  gaze  again.  oh,  this  is  not  the  introduction  lyon  taught  him.  shouto  feels  a  little  ashamed  now.  he  has  to  try  better.  “ sorry.  I’m  shouto.  and  you’re  erza,  right?  gray  told  me  about  you  a  lot. ”

    no  doubt,  it  is  her.  he’s  heard  enough  to  recognize  her,  maybe  he’s  even  seen  her  once  or  twice  in  magazines.  it  doesn’t  matter,  though.  shouto  always  wanted  to  meet  erza.  he  was  CURIOUS.  most  of  all.  he  tries  to  smile,  though  it  looks  a  little  awkward  because  shouto  isn’t  really  good  when  it  comes  to  communication.  “ I’m  lyon’s  mentee  that’s  why  you  reсognized  the  magic.  I  still  have  a  lot  to  learn,  though. ”

    there  is  a  small  pause.

    ” I  was  rude,  sorry  again.  it’s  nice  to  meet  you. ”

“Look at me – you’re safe.”

“But you’re not, BUT YOU’RE NOT!”

His response comes in a frightened howl, his fingers tightly gripping his hair as he backs away from her. At that moment, he feels a fear that hadn’t presented itself around them. Before, it was depressive and hitting when he lay sleepless in bed. Thoughts scratching in his mind, scenarios tormenting his sleep.

Natsu bares his teeth in a snarl, before roars once more and shakes his head. He keeps backing away until his back hits a tree, and instead he lowers himself into a crouching position. He seems ready to start tearing his own hair out, and he lets out another pained roar.

He feels it, he knows it! His fire was so destructive for a reason, to bring about a painful demise! But now Zeref was gone, and he was without purpose. His creation was a destroyer, and with nothing to level it was only a matter of time until he bares his fangs at his nakama.

Another screech, another painful thought. His fingers are human, but he remembers when they were claw like. The salamander feels if something occurred, he’d morph and become the horrifying monster that was meant to kill.

He’s END, he is END.

Tan hands move to grab his scarf and pull it higher to his face. The scales are soothing, but he needed more than that. He hisses and grunts, trembling violently.

His own uncertainties and fear forces him into such a state, unable to even move. The male retreats further until he’s curled in on himself, the only sound emerging was choked sobs and broken whimpers of ‘I don’t want to hurt you’.

vigorous arms encircled the frame of her beloved comrade, bringing him into an embrace. A tight one, unmistakably --- to the point of applying too much strength and ends up lifting his body up from the ground.

He barely has the time to register his childhood friend’s arms wrapping around him --- He almost fails to repress the cry of surprise that threathens to slip past his lips as he feels his feet leave the ground. 

     ( Still, the tiniest of gasps still manages to escape him. )

     “What are you--- Erza, please put me down.”                       “Can’t breathe.”

-- "Nee-chan's been really busy 'round the Guild bar lately," He complained, taking measured but tired steps as he matched his pace with the scarlet-haired; "She's barely been home. It's a Man's job to take care of the house when his sister's away!"

-- By some stroke of luck, he found her company pleasant. The usually imposing Titania hasn't grown soft, however - she simply allowed her true colors to show, around him. Or rather... He finally got the privilege of truly seeing her for who she was, beyond what her reputation, or her strict mannerisms would have suggested. It was more reassuring than anything; knowing she was just the same as everyone else in Fairy Tail. Occasionally distant, self-protected, but also welcoming and supportive all the same.

So, in what rounded as a short trip outside, Elfman took the liberty to share his troubles. After all, Erza and Mirajane were on great terms; surely he could confide in her about the other, right? "But handlin' it alone gets lonely. Lisanna and I pitch in from time to time, but it's a Man!"

Fairy Tail was currently understaffed and overworked. And who better than the dependable poster girl to save the day, over and over. Though... It would, regrettably, garner an irking toll.
