8. Do they sext?

Yes. They are very peculiar about it though.

Let me explain.

They sext the way Ian and Mickey would sext, so if anyone who didn't know them would stumble upon the texts, they would be at best confused, at worse... concerned.

Because it's one part insults, one part banter and a sprinkle of threats to suck each other's dicks into next Tuesday or fucking someone into the mattress so hard that they will need an airplane ticket to get back in the vicinity of their zip code.

It’s not “Hey babe, what are you wearing?”

No.

It’s “You better not have any plans for tomorrow because I’m on my way home and I’m about to fucking wreck you, so you better be ready”.

See? An outsider would be concerned about someone’s safety.

Not Mickey. Mickey responds. “Bring it on, bitch” and jumps into the shower to get himself prepped.

So yeah.

All of this to say that they do indeed, sext.

Okay okay okay okay. How do you think Mickey would have reacted had Ian brought a date that was more compatible to Ian than Cole was?

Oooooooh! This is a great ask. And it begs the question, when has Ian been compatible with anyone other than Mickey? I know you said “more than Cole,” but it’s all a wash to me.

Cringe. I can think of no real contender and will spare you the receipts.

I bring this up, because in rethinking my earlier post, maybe Mickey wasn’t as worried about “who” Ian would bring to the concert but “how far” would both of them be willing to take things to one up each other.

So let’s say Ian had brought a date who he seemed to vibe with more.

Initially, I think Mickey might have panicked, like a little bit, as in, okay, Gallagher went all out. He’s not fucking around. Maybe he would have stayed in the background, studying the situation, planning his next move, brushing off any smug remarks from Ian, although without nearly the same amount of amusement.

But where Ian was at that point with wanting to win Mickey back, I believe he could have had Justin Timberlake on his arm and not been able to feign any real interest in him.

Mickey would have known that or seen that or realized it quickly, especially with his bae being all sulky, which he still would have been, JT, or not.

IMO, Mickey doesn’t doubt how Ian feels about him, despite his courthouse fuck-up and the promise ring fiasco. He wants Ian to get his head out of his ass regarding his self-doubts.

I know, I’m no fun. Who among us doesn’t love the idea of Jealous!Mickey?

Maybe others have a different head canon of what would have happened.

16. Who is the better driver?

Mickey. I debated this for a while in my head because I think maybe Ian is a pretty good driver, level-headed, polite. But Mickey knows when to stand his ground, when to do some defensive driving, if you know what I mean. Sometimes you need to be pretty assertive on the road. Maybe he gets a little frustrated with assholes on the road doing stupid shit (his words, not mine), but that doesn’t mean that he’s gonna go off on every single one of them. He’ll just do his thing but he won’t let anyone steamroll him on the freeway.

20. Post canon - do you think they ever visit the dugouts or the bleachers again?

I think they sometimes do. But like, when they’re having a rough time, maybe when they need to reconnect with each other. The place holds so many memories (good, bad) that it sort of allows them to tune everything out and just breathe. I think it’s Ian who mostly initiates, when he feels like they need to have a talk about something or just touch base, but I think Mickey also knows how the place gives Ian some peace, so whenever Ian is down or just a bit off, Mickey will suggest hanging out there for a bit. Just to give him some time and space to gather his thoughts and gain some perspective.

So here it goes:

3. Did anyone ever walk in on the fucking when they were living in the Gallagher house (S10-S11)?

Yes! So I think that this is the first time in their relationship where they can basically fuck whenever they want without them having to watch their backs because of something. So they take full advantage of that situation, to the absolute horror of Ian’s siblings.

I think the only one who hasn’t caught them fucking is Liam. And that is just because Ian tries to be a responsible older brother, and he tries to give Liam a “normal” childhood, which means adults being mindful of the things that happen around children.

So yeah. Debbie, Carl and Lip, for sure. Liam has probably heard stuff and knows that they are fucking, but he hasn’t walked in on them.

Well the first chapter is Mickey finding Ian passed out in the park in the middle of winter and instead of being normal and getting Ian help he takes Ian home and imprisons him in his basement 😬 Mickey's been in love/obsessed with Ian since they were kids so there will be flashbacks to the younger years and Mickey doing peak ✨Creeper✨ things.

Most of the story is Mickey and Ian in their basement era tho ✌️ I’m still working on outlining it but I have the ending all worked out so it’s mostly just figuring out how to get there. Honestly I doubt a lot of people will be into it but that's fine, I just want more horror themed gallavich 🤣 I think it'll at least be fun for anyone who manages to get to the last chapter before the ending c:

also idk if you wanna hear about my weird horror ideas?? 😂 one of them is a parody of a short horror film I watched where a male prostitute kills his clients and drains their blood through a hole in his inner thigh. The reveal was so underwhelming for me, so I wrote a shitty draft about Mickey having a murder hole that eats anyone who fucks him and then he meets Ian who happens to have a murder dick that kills everyone he fucks. Luckily they find out they can't kill each other. Just Soulmate Things 💖😌👌

Mitch! I’m loving your latest artwork so much. I love the idea it’s based on a hitman/spy relationship so much. But, I hope it’s ok that it also made me think of a post-wedding scene:

The hotel room is warm and they are feeling wonderfully tipsy from the free-flowing booze…but also they’re feeling drunk on the fact that they’re married. They’ve said vows, they’ve got rings, they’ve promised themselves to each other for the rest of their lives - it’s a joyful feeling. Ian and Mickey - husbands, together forever. Ian wants to make sure that Mickey knows just how often he’d thought about this. So he’s leaving hickeys, placed carefully along his new husband’s neck and chest - each marked to the sound of Mickey’s soft laugh as he does so - with a little description of some moments, among so many - too many to really count- that he realised just how much he loved Mickey “this one’s for the first time we fucked” “no way did you know then, dumbass” “this one’s for when I came to you when Monica came back” “couldn’t stand the tears, had to do something” “this one’s for the first time you smiled at me” “don’t even know when that was” (he knows) “and when you first kissed me” “are you a vampire? that one hurt” (no it didn’t) “and the night before everything went….y’know” “that’s an extra big hickey….” (it’s gotta be) “and when you came to find me” “and when you were patient and kind and loved me” “and this one’s for when you saw me for who I am and wanted us to be together anyway” “and when-” “the fuck? it’s not hard loving you, never has been, it’s always been too easy if anything” “and of course….prison” “if I remember right, you left a pretty similar hickey to the one you’re leaving now” “just want you to know how much I love you, how much I always have, how happy I am right now” “love you too, so much, but…uh….you’re kinda running outta places to leave marks” well….maybe I’ll just have to go a bit lower….”
