also I think Leela would get on very well with klingons (also also I love the idea of Leela beating a klingon like twice her size lol)

how has it been over a whole literal year since I first listened to Gallifrey and I only just realized that Hallan got fridged.

Introducing: Gallifrey tea! (Gallitea, if you will.)

Anyone who knows me at all knows two things about me: 1. I love Doctor Who and 2. I love tea. 

I’ve been a fan of Adagio Teas for a long time, especially their fandom blends! I never really thought of making one myself, but then I listened to the Big Finish Gallifrey series and I was inspired. This Gallifrey tea I’ve made is my first attempt at making a tea blend, but I must have done something right because this is now one of my all-time favourite teas. Not only did I achieve my goal in making the colour reddish-orangish, but the flavours are incredible! And this is just the first in a whole group of Gallifrey teas; I already have five character teas set up, I just have to tweak them a little before I make them public. 

Anyway, I really just wanted to share this because I think that fandom teas are awesome and more people should know about Adagio Teas. If you’re a tea lover, their rewards system is fantastic and they have so many amazing teas on their website! I hope you’ll check it out! :D

....fuck like I know I’ve kind of moved on from the gallifandom (hopefully not forever) but it just occurred to me how much of of my current fannish life I owe to the gallifandom. like even apart from meeting some of my very best friends through here, and like, learning to interect with people on the internet, the number of fandoms I have that had their roots in Gallifrey like.

I met Charamei through Gallifrey and she’s to blame for getting me into Dragon Age. And also rpg and the Gamers and Galavant and Brooklyn 99 and the Good Place.

And then I first got interested in Adventure Time and Bubbline when I saw I’m Just Your Problem mentioned as a good Romana/Narvin song and then I started watching when Gallifandom friends talked to me about it.

I watched Farscape because Lani made an Andred fanvideo with Crichton as Andred, and I got into Defiance through Farscape. I literally only got into Marvel (even if I have since drifted away) because Jane kept comparing Coulson to Narvin.

Community and Cabin Pressure and John Finnemore’s Souvenir Programme and Carmilla all came from gallifans. there’s just. so much.

so thank you gallifandom I may have moved on but I owe so much to you <3 <3
