Call me Nug Any pronouns Autism Central I'm too old and have been here too long to have a pinned post ~ Currently insane about Baldur's Gate 3 and my beautiful wife Orin the Red who has done nothing wrong in her life. Also posting about Doctor Who, BG1/2, The Owl House, Severance, Undertale/Deltarune and various others. ~ 18+ blog at this point. Feel free to send me asks/messages whenever, we don't need to be mutuals. If we talk ever you're welcome to ask for my discord. Let me know if you need anything tagged/warned for and I'll try my best. I always want to talk about my fanfics and my OCs. Do not feed any of my fics/posts to AI.
you don’t get helly r without helena eagan. everything about helly comes from helena. regardless of how repressed some of those instincts are in helena, they manifest in helly because she has no reason to hide them. they are two parts of the same person.
You know the Dead Three’s alliance is super brittle- especially by the end of act two- so I doubt that Ketheric would have brought up that the prism-bearer just so happens to be The Dark Urge regardless because fuck his coworkers, he hates them- but also I like to think somewhere in the middle of Gortash telling him to stop sulking and that maybe digging up Isobel was a stupid idea, he just fully decided to take that knowledge to the grave
characters who get the "i can fix him" urge not because theyre a saint who loves everyone inherently but because they think "if i can prove there's good in everyone, maybe i can start feeling like i'm worthy or being seen as good too."
It's honestly hilarious to think about Koschei fucking Oakdown as a genuine world leader. THE MASTER had to like approve infrastructure bills, veto bills, plan rallies, attend diplomatic visits. whatever prime minister shit happens. He used to be a campy ass supervillain doing his big elaborate schemes. Turning himself into a cheetah, stealing bodies, assassinating and framing people, pestering the military... Now there's days at a time not even doing anything Doctor related because work keeps getting in the way, he would just be fucking fuming at the end of a long meeting about rising housing prices thinking "how the hell did Rassilon do this for a whole planet" or "Theta come back you can have Britain this sucks actually"
The Master is supposed to be in his natural environment, tying women to train tracks and going "nyehehehe!" it's literally bad for him not to let him do his evil plans. Poor thing is dying here. Doctor Who is the funniest show ever conceived
It's going to be hard, but you're going to be okay. You're going to be happier than you are now--because you're not happy, are you? Not really. You're tired of this life, but you can't conceive of what comes beyond. Of course it hurts--but when were we ever afraid of pain?--but I'm happier now than I've ever been.
You're going to be okay, but you do have to stop, and you have to be sorry for all the people you've hurt, because they're just as much people as you. You have to keep trying to be better, every day, you have to keep caring. It's not easy, not at all, but we're strong (we don't need Bhaal's strength) and it's worth it.
You might not believe this yet, you might think there's nothing better than godhood, but we deserved better than the life we were given. We deserve the chance to change.
And the hardest part to hear: If we'd been kind to Orin--if we knew how to be kind--if we'd listened to her, if we hadn't hurt her day after day after day, she wouldn't have had a reason to get rid of us. Being the person you are now is what drove Orin away.
