🌋 Gallus Nesting 🌋

So, we have seen more characters than expected claiming allegiance with Gallus Nesting. What's up with that?

Gallus Nesting has been on a drive for more residents for a while now! As far as four years back, during and after the end of the world, River Wheatflower advertised to new arrivals whether they want to live in Gallus Nesting.

The town started out as the seat of the Chicken Cult: a tight-knit group worshipping the Chicken Mother. It has since expanded and opened up, and you don't even have to worship the Mother to live there. Just, you know. Respect the local religion.

Gallus Nesting is divided into two areas: Residential and business. The Residential area, closer to the forest and warpstones, sports luxurious buildings, a small pond area and stables for the various tamed animals. Rumor has it, River herself will build a house for you here if you wish to move in! Alternatively, you can stay at the local hotel if you don't wish to stay long.

Past the smaller community farm you will find the business street. Many of the shops are still works in progress, but more are moving in quick! Finally, the lake bordering the town wil soon house a full temple to the Mother.

About: A chaotic yet cowardly sentient pumpkin who has a habit of running his mouthHe has chickens who he considers his children, and will stop at nothingto keep them safe, even if it means to take a life. He tries to give the same care to his close friends and family but he's not the best at that.

Character Name: Cecil Species: Phantom Pronouns: he/they Homeland: The Dreamscape, Gallus Nesting Occupation: Mapmaker, curator of dreams. Favorite Thing: Amethyst geodes and axolotl <;3 Fun Fact: Cecil loves Unexpected Spellings and puns; they name all their tools. Their two fishing rods are named Marija and Mareeah About: Cecil is a phantom that lives to curate dreams. This is the only existence they remember. However! They will consistently lie about this fact. They are very paranoid about people in the overworld finding out what they are… Which makes it even more unfortunate that they are not a very good shapeshifter.

Character Name: Ceeb Hope Wheatflower Species: Robot Pronouns: He/Him Occupation: River Industrys Homeland: Overworld, Gallus Nesting Favorite Thing: Moss Fun Fact: He's as old as the clock that once powered him. About: A curious AI, Ceeb is semi-bound to his coding, anything breaking that code causes a deep frustration at the least. Outside of that he is caring for everyone, especially those he counts as family, as he sees entities as all important to the world.

Character Name: River Wheatflower Species: Goat Pronouns: She/Her Homeland: Overworld, Spires, Gallus Nesting Occupation: Leader of Gallus Nesting Favorite Thing: Chickens and Tech Fun Fact: Started with chicken king of the hill. Ended with village and chicken spirit About: A goat who is sometimes high is the leader of Gallus Nesting. She likes explore and leaning new things. When it comes to her friends shed do anything for them. Apart from deal with her own problems. She has to observers over her shoulders. A mother and a Raven.

🌋 The Spires 🌋

A home of transformation and technology. Locations: Gallus Nesting, The Railways

The Spires are the volcanic area of the map. Brightly-coloured pools with steaming water shape the landscape, with its greener pastures inviting residents to stay. Gallus Nesting presents itself as a calm place to stay, with just a few inhabitants so far, and all the Entities of Yokai profit of the community farm located here.

Gallus Nesting is the only actual settlement in the Spires. It is run by River Wheatflower, a goat who likes to get high sometimes, and the council around her. It is also the seat of the chicken cult, though worshipping the Chicken Mother is not a requirement to live there.

The Community Farm holds fields of crops for anyone to harvest. It is notable for its technological advancements; notably a huge windmill and a Create Warehouse. It also holds the Unofficial Train(ing) Grounds, where new trains are built for the sprawling railroad system.

The Railways span the Spires and connect all the way back to Emberlan. There is no active train system currently, but with the way technology is being pushed to develop here, that is only a matter of time.
