Denial!
Tries to act nonchalant with you, but always fails
He acts like he doesn’t have a crush on you, but it’s so obvious
Is protective over you (under the guise of ‘friends’)
He WILL fight anyone who picks on you/or makes you cry
Complete opposites. You’re not nearly as outgoing or slick as him- which might be why you both work so well together. He likes the balance you bring
Besides, he thinks you’re cool in your own right (Obviously)
His friends tease and taunt him abt his crush
At first he denied it, but soon just accepted it
He def tries to get advice from them. Hes pretty confident, but not enough to ask you out
He keeps getting frustrated when trying to ask you out, because he kept missing up
You just cocked your head, brows frown as you watch him groan, grab his face and pull down as he practically runs off
“Dude what happened?”
“My mind just went blank! Ugh- I couldn’t speak”
If he was more emotional, he’d probably cry
You’d have to ask him out

“Oh, yeah? Well, she asked ME out; Does your girlfriend like you enough to ask you out?”
He’s awkward abt it at first, but slowly gets into it. Like he learns relatively quickly what to do in a relationship
He’s still shy with you, but hides it with overconfidence
Thinks you’re way to good for him, but never voices it out. Keeps that thought deep down and to himself
