bro oh my god they just blocked tumblr in my country wtf???

i originally didn't want to do anything for my bday, but i went out and met w a friend to eat and go to karaoke, then watched a movie. it's a good day, overall.

its what my parents wouldve wanted for me, rather than wallow in misery and worry for them.

but how can i celebrate anything w what's happening rn? both of them in middle east, close enough to hear and see the explosions. yet here they are, calling to greet me happy bday w a smile on their faces.

3 yrs ive been unemployed and not for a lack of trying. still relying on them for income. hundreds of interviews, job applications, and for what? its sickening, shameful, that i still haven't had anything saved to help w the house. my commissions and gigs could only take me so far. what use is my diploma, my license, if i can't even find a job as a cashier? as a waiter? and my parents, they don't even pressure me to find to find a job. just happy to provide as much as they can. i feel so damn helpless.
