“Yeah, alright.”  He said, waving a hand passively to show he wasn’t ready to start haggling yet, letting the item slip through his fingers back onto the shelf for display.  What a bunch of junk!   He had it from both Han and Aphra that Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities out on Batuu was the place for ancient artifacts -- even maybe Jedi relics, if he was lucky.  But so far all he’d seen was the same scrap and hustle found the galaxy over, at hundreds of other small market shops like this. 

Still -- there was an undeniable pull here.  Something under the surface.  Something of the Force.  

He picked up a spare part from an astromech (Artoo wouldn’t mind a treat), and a cloak in the local fashion for himself (to blend in, if need be).   Han might object, but Luke had always found shop keeps to be more endeared towards you if you were willing to lay down a few credits out of the gate.  

“Say,” He starts, reaching to the back pouch on his belt, lightsaber hilt briefly visible beneath his brown cloak.  “I’ve heard Dok-Ondar is the collector in these parts; but a lot of this stuff I’ve seen before.  The merchants who raided the Jedi Temple on Coruscant have more valuables than you have way out here --”  Though, if truth were told, Luke with his Outer Rim accent and farmboy mannerisms was far more comfortable in Outer Rim Outposts like this than any of the Core Worlds.  

“What gives?   Did you get Doctor Aphra in here a few days before me to clear you out of the good stuff or what?”

BATUU WAS a planet where daldon was left the hell alone. sure, he would have a few scrappers finding his ship and trying to take pieces off ( to which daldon would swiftly take care of them ), but other than that, it was generally a very calm place where he was. about four miles outside of galma, he wasn’t disturbed very often. 

then he hears a knock on the back of the hatch. he curses under his breath, grabbing his rifle and opening the hatch, pointing it out the door and at a figure. “you have about three seconds to leave before i blast you.” he was tired of people bothering him, and he didn’t care who it was. “three, two..”

                    Brows  furrow  as  he  turns  to  peek  over  at  Myla ,  then  out  towards  the  patches  of  night  sky  not  obstructed  by  spires ,  eyes  closing  as  he  tries  to  focus  on  the  supposed  noise .  ❛       I  don’t  hear  anything——   are  you  sure  there’s  something  making  noise ?   ❜

     “    oh?    ”     qi’ra chuckles weakly,   a hand on her abdomen,  another on the table in front of her and facing away from the other.   she lets a shaky breath escape her lips as she tries to steady herself enough to speak.     “    i hope its not too bad.    ”    qi’ra’s hands shake and she looks over her shoulder at the other,   a silent plead for support is evident on her face.
