Lydia Akwabi aka L-Ness is one of East Africa's top Female Emcees. She's a Hiphop Cultural Specialist,Mc and a Certified Nutritionsit. She has a solid catalogue to her name: * SIMANGWE(2011): her first album that basically advocates for more Appreciation, play and progression of the craft. *GAL POWER(2012): her second album, whose main theme is Women empowerment. Launched at the Goethe Institute,NAIROBI, in July 2012, exclusively features female Emcees from the East African Region. * PUNCH(2013): her third album just like the title suggest is a mixture of different sounds, rap styles and producers thereby being versatile enough to accommodate all kinds of audiences at least. Away from music,L-ness facilitates workshops on Hiphop culture,Roots and traditions, and advocates for the proper use of Hiphops elements and principles, among other trivial issues. Her collaboration with Black Duos Judge, on the track MSANII off the groundbreaking Hiphop album,KILIO CHA HAKI, was and is still a house hold tune among Hiphop fans in Kenya and beyond.
