A new discovery has been made in Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary!

Researchers from NOAA, the state of Michigan, and Ocean Exploration Trust have discovered an intact shipwreck resting hundreds of feet below the surface of Lake Huron. The shipwreck has been identified as the sailing ship Ironton. Magnificently preserved by the cold freshwater of the Great Lakes for over a century, the 191-foot Ironton rests upright with its three masts still standing.

This song pains me so much because it reminds me of how horrible and traumatizing Banks' life was, just how hopeless and desperate she was to lead a 'normal' life and be like the other high school kids. She keeps telling herself she will get herself out of that town but all she knew and given in life was the ugly side of thunderbay. I think even though her heart's desire was to be as far away from the town as possible, she knew she would always be tied down because of the two person she somehow feel responsible for. Everytime i reread hideaway it becomes more and more clear Banks needs OUT of thunderbay to be at peace. That place is simply not big enough for her.
