Who: Imogen Connolly & Galvin Gudgeon When: February 25th, 1978. Late Afternoon Where: The Hufflepuff Common Room
Imogen loved the Hufflepuff Common Room more than words could express. Sometimes it felt more like home than her actual home did, with its cozy atmosphere and loving friends around her. She could spend hours in the Common Room and feel content just simply being there. Today, for instance, she’d sat down with a book hours ago and spent the entirety of her day reading it through. She supposed it helped that it had been a good book and that she had been lost to the world it created for her, but she also liked to think the atmosphere around her helped as well.
Closing the book after finishing its last page, Imogen swiped away a few tears. It had been a lovely story with a happy ending that tugged at her heartstrings and made her sad that it was over. It wasn’t unusual for her to cry when reading a book but this book in particular hadn’t been one that she normally would have shed a tear over. For some reason she’d been more emotional lately, her nerves on edge after the attacks she guessed. Imogen glanced up to see one of her housemates and shook her head at herself. “Sorry, I’m fine, it was just a good book is all.”
