Loughrea’s public library is in the old Protestant church. As a book-worshipping agnostic I love this use of space and its history soooo much. Plus the windows are just beautiful. Details I noticed on this visit include a memorial plaque for a donor who “fell asleep in Christ” which is an A+ euphemism and a poster of Ireland’s second-favorite US president.
