My work includes:

Bad Guys, a game about modern-day robin hoods, inspired by the TV show Leverage;

Bring the Stars Home to Me, a journaling game about being far away from someone who loves you;

Broke Wizards, a comedy zine about working-class sorcerers delving dungeons to make rent;

Fantasy Heartbreaker, a minimalist fantasy adventure engine/joke about the world of forgotten fantasy games;

Under the Door, an adult game about intimacy, shame, and taboo, also very early in development.

I am also currently in the process of constructing a professional website to host my work.

I Teach RPG Design:

One Last Thing

I make a point of not blogging about politics, for the sake of compartmentalization. My political life lies largely outside the internet. That said, you should know where I stand on a number of issues:

I am a Jew and a proud AntiZionist. I believe that Israel is an arm of the white supremacist European hegemony which exists only to establish a military foothold in Asia, and that its existence is a grave threat to Jews ad Muslims the world over. From the River to the Sea.

I am Queer an Polyamorous. You won't hear a lot from me about my love life, but it's important to me that my queerness and polyamory are known to the world; they're important parts of who I am and they shape the work I do.

I am Multiply Disabled. Both physically and cognitively. I can't hold a day-job, so RPGs are my career, whether they pay the bills or not. Universal Basic Income is not a luxury, and it's not a fantasy - it will save lives.

I am Pro Sex Work and anti-TERF. I have done sex work in the past, and I wouldn't be the feminist I am today if it weren't for trans women in specific.. I believe that the fight for the rights of sex workers and the fight for trans liberation are one and the same.

I am Pro-Kink. Relatedly, I am a kinkster, and believe that you cannot meaningfully disambiguate tabletop roleplaying with BDSM. Consequently, I am in full support of weirdos, perverts, faggots, and people who make pornography - especially whatever kind of porn makes you the most uncomfortable.

I Need Some Help.

If you follow me, you probably know by now that this July, I'm having a surgery done. I've been pretty vague about it, but time is running short to fundraise, so I figure I'll tell you a bit about it.

A bundle by Sabrina Hawthorne, $14.99 for 7 games

when I was 17, I was subject to medical violence that did severe damage to my genitals. As a result, I've experienced chronic pain, complications with menstruation, and mistreatment at the hands of former partners. This damage also causes me no small discomfort with my body.

I dealt with that discomfort for 10 years. Last year, though, for a number of personal reasons, I decided enough was enough; I now have enough of a support network that I can feasibly have a reconstructive surgery done which will substantially improve my quality of life. With the encouragement of my partners, friends, and family, I began making plans.

The problem is that the surgery in question is plastic in nature, and as a result my state insurance won't cover it. That means that I'm on the hook for a $24,000 medical bill that I don't have the means to pay. As of writing this post, I've raised about $1,000.

I want to be clear; if the day comes and I can't afford this surgery, I'll just cancel my appointment. I won't be destitute if my goal isn't met. This is not a life-saving procedure. That said, having it done would mean a substantial improvement in my quality of life, and it's something I've wanted to do since I was a teenager.
