HIT JEFF WITH THEM CHARTS
I love Giant Bomb’s Game Tapes videos
There’s something so absolutely amazing about watching old games press conferences. IT’S SO BAD I LOVE IT. Nintendo OPENED WITH ELECTROPLANKTON, that game 15 people bought, and then immediately went to pushing their wifi with Gamespy (which I guess fell through as Gamespy died): Reggie- “We didn’t invent online gaming, but we’re going to reinvent it!” Jeff- “Poorly! For years to come. We’re STILL fucking it up!” But yeah. They then go on to push a Tony Hawk game that I’m pretty sure never even released. It’s also saddening seeing lists of 3rd party partners and going “OH HEY 4 of those 25 still exist... :/”.
Video games are silly sometimes. Demo Derby is also great because so much of the video content on them is just trying SO HARD.
