‪Happy 30th Birthday to the Gameboy! I didn’t get to work on it until it was in color, but what a great family of machines! Alice in Wonderland for the GBC was the first game I worked on and I made so many mistakes but learned a ton from it too!

Did you ever play the original Game Boy?

You can see this Game Boy that survived the Gulf War at Nintendo NYC.

In 1990 this original Game Boy was damaged in an explosion during the Gulf War.  It's buttons and D-pad were fused to the case, which had melted so badly the motherboard was exposed, but it still powered up and ran the cart in it. 29 years later, it's still running!
