Cameo week highlights so far, payneland edition:

- if Edwin and Charles could choose their afterlife it would be each other

- puppy debacle of 06 was Charles bringing in a ghost puppy that turned out not to be a normal one (maybe a hell hound??)

- if they weren't detectives Edwin would go into smth editorial and Charles would go into fighting

- IF they went on a date, Charles would want to take Edwin to do smth outdoorsy that they don't usually do e.g. doing something sporty

- they would want to take the other on vacation to the Maldives and to Scotland (guess who chose which lol)

- Charles uses physical touch as reassurance, and feels reassured by Edwin's praise like "excellent job today, Charles", Edwin takes care of Charles by fixing up his clothes

- Charles likes how intelligent, competent and organized Edwin is, Edwin likes how protective and brave Charles is

I wasn’t going to originally share this but I thought I would since I think the people would like to know these answers SO

I got a cameo/gameoden from George and Jayden and asked about Charles’ protectiveness and how Edwin felt about it, and also the chemistry between Edwin and Charles!!

I don’t mind if you repost this anywhere just make sure to link back to this post and/or me but yeah hope you all enjoyyy (also, Jayden asks where I’m from, unfortunately the very boring answer is I’m American LMAO)

You have said ‘was Charles’ instant protectiveness instinctual or did it develop over time?’. No, I think it is instinctual, I think you know, with what was going on at home I think he had a massive protective feeling over his mum. And I think that just kind of carried on. I mean you can tell from the way that he was protecting that boy hence the reason why he died, you know, that boy was the same color as him. He didn’t feel as though that boy should’ve been beaten up because of his race and that protectiveness was there from the get go I think. ‘How did Edwin feel having someone care for him like that’ I think he was extremely— well, probably a little thrown off kilter at first because he probably isn’t used to that level of affection and care. I think he was ultimately very moved by it and it’s one of the reasons why he does feel so connected to Charles. ‘Did the boys’ physical/emotional harmony come naturally? Was the way one picks up where the other leaves off intentional?’, No, to be honest, I think it’s just because of us to be fair. I think mine and George’s physical and emotional harmony run very parallel with each other. We pretty much share one brain. Like for example, when we were filming the pilot just kind of by chance Jayden and I would do this simultaneous— George and Jayden look at each other— and then suddenly down the series they’re saying do the Edwin and Charles look! And we’re like huh? the Edwin and Charles look?? But, thank you for your great questions, Ringo, I hope they satisfied you. i've decided not to share my full cameo because they responded to some personal stuff i'd rather not be spread around, but the boys were so, so sweet and kind and i cried a lot lol. i still wanted to share some of it with everyone. so i've transcribed what they said!

i asked them: if prompted, what would the boys say their favourite thing is about the other?

J: I think Charles' favourite thing about Edwin would be his organization, and his knowledge for the work. [George nodded and agreed with this] Because that is kind of what the boys are doing together, you know? They're detectives and they're solving theses cases and if Charles was left to his own devices [he laughs] to kind of sort out cases and everything there would be no organization and no body would have a clue what the hell is going on. G: Yeah and I would say off the back of that, Edwin's favourite thing is that he knows that Charles is--well I think he's very moved by how protective he is of him, even though he wouldn't admit it. But I think he appreciates how Charles is really happy to get his hands dirty. Charles is the one who throws the grenade. Edwin builds it, Charles does the dirty work. I don't think Edwin physically likes to get his hands dirty, so I would say that. But I also would say, you know, we've talked about it a lot in our interviews and it's commented on how they kind of complete each other. And I also think it's worth saying, I think the boys know that. I think they know that their favourite thing about the other is that the other is like their other half. J: It really is like the ying to the yang, isn't it? G: Yeah, and I think they're aware of it, I don't think it's just something that you see from the outside in. So I would say that is ultimately, for sure, Edwin's favourite thing about Charles.

the only other thing i'll add is jayden signed off the cameo by saying "love from your dead boys" because in my message i said i hoped it was okay that i referred to them as "my dead boys" to which they BOTH were like "we ARE your dead boys" which was well and truly the end for me.😭

Like, I feel like our boys broke the internet in the best possible way, and I can't stop laughing.

First, after I'm sure their algorithm went haywire from the huge influx of cameo requests that just showed up on George's profile out of seemingly nowhere, Cameo's interest is piqued. They post this:

And then, a few hours later, this:

And, lastly, after scratching their heads at the fact that we are overtaking their platform, they do some digging and ask:

And I just feel like whoever is handling their social media is like, "what in the holy hell just happened," but also, " these boys are internet cotton candy and now I'm invested in their success. What is this jargon that you speak of?"
