yeah, what’s on tumblr stays on tumblr. i personally ‘m not gonna go around thinking/talking about your problems in my day-to-day life. don’t worry about it!

1) What is a cartoon from your childhood that you were obsessed with and/ or would like to watch again?

Rugrats. Tommy was my boooyyyyy. <3

2) what’s your favourite game right now? (video game, word game, card game, anything goes.) 

I haven't really played any games lately....um...ooooh. Guitar Hero 5. I bought it a couple of weeks ago because it has "In My Place" by Coldplay on it and in June I saw both their Philadelphia concerts, and that song was the best of the entire concert. Each time they sung the "Heeeeyyyyy" line, confetti went out across the crowd and it was just so oddly beautiful and moving. It really was awesome. So, naturally when I found it was on Guitar Hero 5 I just had to buy it to play!!!

3) What fandom is currently your favourite, and why?

Sherlock. because it's intelligent, it's emotionally moving, it's got subtext that's not very sub..... And most importantly 1.5 hours of Benedict Cumberbatch looking like heaven on earth spouting off genius lines. what more could a girl ask for?

4) I really liked the embarassing story question I got, so tell me a funny and/or embarassing story. (also, it doesn’t have to be about you, necesrily >:) )

I was obsessed. OBSESSED. with twilight for two years of my life. Which means I found Edward Cullen's voyeuristic tendencies romantic and sweet and protective.

obviously I now know that relationship has so many abusive red flags it's more scarlet than the Hogwarts Express, but all I can say is that it was in the 8th and 9th grades. I was deep into Post-Potter Depression as the book series ended the summer of 7th going into 8th grade, and it was just all such a whirlwind that I was reading them all before I knew what hit me. 

I nearly clobbered my dad once because the summer between 8th and 9th grade he put down a bag of ice next to my paperback copy of Twilight and it ruined the cover when the ice melted.

5) Name 3 things you don’t ever want to eat again.

1. Dairy Queen ice cream. I had my tonsils out in 4th grade and I ate nothing but Dairy Queen for 2 weeks straight. Needless to say I am completely and utterly disgusted by it now...

2. Stewed tomatos. i was forced to eat them as a child once. slimy disgusting crap.

3.  potato chips. they're addictive but not satisfying and too easy to eat the whole bag. I haven't had them since I was 8 but I do not ever want to eat them again.

6) What is your favorite aspect of Tumblr, and where is your favourite place to be on the internet?

I like tumblr's constant ability to mix awesome fandom posts and ridiculously awesome technology and great causes. It's just such a great amalgamation of everything I love about the internet. Never fails to put a smile on my face.

I also just love how tumblr cuts through all the bullshit on Facebook, which is far too much about presenting yourself in the best light. Tumblr is all about being your honest self and having others appreciate that honesty.

tumblr is my favorite place to be on the internet for above reasons.

7) What was the last compliment you received?

Someone complimented my new shirt. but the last compliment to my personal self was my mom telling me she thinks I'll do great in college (she has been giving me a lot of talks about all the work I've got to do in college etc. but wants to assure me that while it's a lot of work she's confident I can do it.

8) Do you own any pets? If so what are they?

I have two dogs, an almost 8-yr old Westie, Max, and an almost 4/5 year old, Shit Tzu/Pekingese mix Gracie.

Gracie's a diva who bullies Max, and Max is an intelligent, indulgent older brother. Gracie only bullies him because he lets her....she's half his size.

9) when you were 6, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A Dentist. OH HOW THE TIMES HAVE CHANGED. I WOULD NEVER BECOME ONE OF THOSE SPAWN OF SATAN. i hate dentists.

10) do you sleep deeply, do you dream often, and do you ever dream about your fandoms? (I certainly do!)

When I sleep well I dream all the time. Idk but I have some pretty weird dreams.....I must have been thinking about Lancaster a lot lately (where I'm going to college) because I dreamt I was a government infiltrator in Amish culture trying to discover and uncover child marriages.

Child Marriage isn't really an Amish problem....I know this....but I was reading something about child marriage before i went to sleep so. 

It was actually pretty frightening....I was a badass government agent but I saw some pretty violent/disturbing things. I would be concerned with my psyche if I wasn't aware that I had gone to bed with those images on my brain...

I don't have many fandom dreams. </3

11) What is the creepiest thing to ever happen to you? like, psychic or deja vu or anything, I guess.

I get pretty vivid deja vu sometimes...but the really creepy things happen to my mom.

My mom had a dream before her childhood neighbor died, and then a dream the night her mom died.

She also has a lot of things she just...idk. She definitely has bit of the supernatural sense....

Maybe it's because she's 100% Irish....from a land so steeped in supernatural lore...

My grandmother had similar things happen to her as my mom has, and one night after coming home from the hospital from visiting my cancer-riddled grandfather, and bizarrely at like 3:00 AM she woke up and sat right up in bed. For no reason. The next day she got a call from the hospital to tell her that Granddad had died in the early morning.

She sat up when he died.
