Wifies is frowning. It's a funny look on him, because usually he has a very still expression, neutral and peaceful. His frowns are silly looking to Ken.
“What's wrong?” Ken asks.
He thinks they had a nice time today actually. They went to a little brunch event with a bunch of escapists and escape room builders, socialized, and caught up with old friends. A good day really.
“Hm? Nothing.”
“Wifies, seriously,” Ken pokes his cheek. “You're frowning. What's wrong?”
Wifies dawdles most of the walk home, and they bicker until they reach the door. Ken stands between it and Wifies's keys with hands on his hips.
“Can you tell me?” Ken needles.
“Fine,” Wifies sighs, blushing before even speaking. “You and Avatar. You're good friends.”
“. . . Yeah?”
“Seeing you two hang out made me jealous.”
Ken snorts and slaps a hand over his mouth. Wifies raises an eyebrow, mouth twitching.
“Yeah, I know. It's just— everyone else in your life has a lot of rich history with you. And I don't. It makes me think stupid things.”
Ken coos and kisses Wifies, pinching his cheek lightly.
“You're so cute,” Ken says. “And so polite. You didn't even kiss me in front of everyone to assert dominance!”
“You don't like PDA,” Wifies mutters before kissing Ken again. “Can we go inside now?”
“Are you still jealous?”
“Mm, no. You're kissing me, aren't you?”
