NARRATIVE INVESTIGATION: RESEARCH-
I really like this painting I did of my dad trying to order the pieces before the game had even started.

PLAYING NARRATIVES: RESEARCH-
This was drawn after a game of flounders, looking at the expressions of people in the photos I took whilst playing. It is interesting looking at how people’s expressions change depending on how they are doing in the game, and also how much time they spend looking at another players pieces.
I really like games were you collect things as it’s normally obvious who’s winning and you get a sense of pride when you build a collection. It’s also fun as normally there’s a way for the collection to be compromised causing anguish and great outrage.
PLAYING NARRATIVES: RESEARCH-
For some of my games research I recorded my cousins playing Twister. I like Twister as it is one of the rare games that you have to play with your whole body. It’s a game that will always cause a great deal of laughing and I think that’s really something to be admired in a game as some really are just quite boring.
I actually really like these drawings and how the figures are drawn on top of the mat so you can always see the coloured dots. I have an idea for a book of these, which wouldn’t really have much point I just think it’s make a nice book. Maybe with some ‘right foot blue’ type at the bottom of the page or something.
