Von alten Freunden und neuen Bekanntschaften
Die Tage und Wochen ziehen ins Land und man kann getrost behaupten, dass wir uns schon sehr in Osaka eingelebt haben. Manche Tage sind ereignislos und gleichen den anderen wie Weizen dem Korn und andere halten unerwartete Erlebnisse und Erfahrungen bereit. Doch auch wenn wir uns schon an unser Leben hier gewöhnt haben, sind wir mit steter Veränderung konfrontiert. Das betrifft vor allem unsere Freundesgruppe. So wie wir sind die meisten Leute, die wir kennenlernen, nur kurzfristig an einem Ort, bevor sie in weitere Teile Japans oder der Welt weiterreisen. So müssen wir uns nach vier Wochen von den ersten Freunden, die wir hier gewonnen haben, verabschieden. Eine Person haben wir besonders ins Herz geschlossen – unsere Managerin Michele aus Deutschland. Mit ihr teilen wir nicht nur unsere Liebe für K Pop, wir haben auch noch einen ähnlichen Sinn für Humor. Darum ist es kein Wunder, dass es uns gemeinsam noch einmal nach Korea Town verschlägt, um dort Koreanisches BBQ auszuprobieren. Hier wird das Fleisch, meist Schweine- oder Rindfleisch, auf einem Herd in der Mitte des Esstisches zubereitet. Dazu bekommt man noch einige Beilagen, verschiedene Gemüsesorten, Reis, Krabben etc. Wir bestellen uns Schweinebauch – die Fleischstücke werden, wenn sie fertig zubereitet sind, mit den Beilagen und einer Sauce in Salatblätter eingewickelt und wie eine Art Wrap gegessen. Es ist absolut köstlich, mit Abstand das beste Essen, was wir bis dato in Japan hatten.
Mit Michele gehen wir auch wieder in eine Spielehalle, um unser erstes „Purikura“ zu machen. Das sind japanische Fotokabinen, die einem automatisch ein schmales und aufgeschminktes Gesicht verpassen. Man macht einige Fotos mit verschiedenen Posen und kann sie nachher mit allerhand Stickern, Hintergründen und Zeichen dekorieren und ausdrucken. Zum Abschluss fordern wir noch unser Können in Dance Dance Revolution heraus, wobei wir eher aussehen, wie Senioren in diesen Generationenparks mit den verschiedenen Geräten, um die alten Knochen auf Vordermann zu bringen, als talentierte Tänzer. Was uns vor allem an diesen Spielehallen fasziniert, sind die japanischen Besucher, die Ewigkeiten an einem Gerät verbringen und einfach unglaublich gut in diesen Spielen sind. Man sieht nur die Arme in Lichtgeschwindigkeit durch die Gegend fliegen, während die Punkte in Sekundenschnelle in die Höhe schießen (physikalisch zwar nicht korrekt ausgedrückt, aber für das Bild im Kopf eine passende Beschreibung)
Wir sind auch für Micheles neuen Haarschnitt verantwortlich. Unser aufgebautes Vertrauen reicht anscheinend für sie, um sich die Haare von Lisa schneiden zu lassen, während ich mich um die musikalische Untermalung mit einem best of verschiedener Musicals kümmere. Die neue Frisur führen wir gleich in unserer Stammbar vor, in der wir einen grandios lustigen Abend verbringen. Das Highlight sind ein paar betrunkene Japaner, die scherzhaft unseren Freund Hagen angraben, indem sie versuchen, mit ihm aufs Klo zu gehen. Es ist lustiger, als es sich anhört.
Schließlich verabschieden wir uns am 5.3. von ihr, wie es nun mal so sein muss. Von unserer ersten Freundesgruppe bleibt also nur noch Hagen zu diesem Zeitpunkt. Mit ihm nehmen wir an einem Pub Crawl teil – unser erstes richtiges Fortgehen in Japan. Wir treffen uns mit den anderen Teilnehmern in einem Irish Pub und ziehen gemeinsam von Bar zu Bar bis wir im bekanntesten Club Osakas – der Giraffe – enden. Durch die Gruppenrabatte bekommen wir relativ günstig einen Rausch - das kann man sehen wie man möchte. In einer Bar bekommt man eine Stunde lang unbegrenzt Getränke für insgesamt 1000 yen (ca. 8 €) – zahlt sich auf jeden Fall aus. Alles in allem ist es ein spaßiger Abend, wobei der Club sich nicht großartig von den Clubs zu Hause unterscheidet. An einem anderen Abend gehen wir in ein anderes Lokal in einem wesentlich mehr nüchternen Zustand und ich schließe das gleiche Urteil. Die Musik ist hauptsächlich westlich, die Leute trinken, rauchen und tanzen und die Preise sind relativ teuer. Clubs halt.
Auch Hagen zieht kurze Zeit nach Michele weiter. Somit sind wir wieder alleine und müssen uns neue Freunde finden. Glücklicherweise ist das in einem Hostel nicht besonders schwer, da man andauernd auf neue Leute und Mitarbeiter trifft. So gehen wir an einem Abend mit dem neuen Manager und ein paar weiteren Leuten Sushi essen und danach ins Kino, um uns Captain Marvel anzusehen. An einem anderen Abend schließen wir uns mit unserer britischen Kollegin Kylie zusammen und versuchen unser Glück mit der Zubereitung des beliebten Gerichts okonomiyaki. Eine weitere Besonderheit ist die Gaming Bar Space Station, in der wir uns zusammen mit Amanda aus Neuseeland und Jaime aus Kalifornien vergnügen. Die Bar ist zwar nicht besonders groß, aber es gibt einige Spielkonsolen mit Retrospielen und süchtig machenden Gemeinschaftsspielen. Dazu gibt es leckere Cocktails und alle möglichen Hits aus den 80ern und 2000ern. Sehr zu empfehlen.
Auch wir werden bald weiterziehen und unsere neuen Freunde hinter uns lassen, womit sich der Kreis erneut wiederholt. Es ist zwar zum einen etwas traurig, Personen die wir ins Herz geschlossen haben, so schnell wieder zu verlassen, wir freuen uns jedoch auch über die Zeit, die wir mit so vielen verschiedene interessanten und lustigen Leute verbringen dürfen. Jedenfalls ist es ein großer Teil unseres Reiseabenteuers.
