Lucky is such an incredibly important part of Paleo Pines, and it's such a cosy trip down memory lane to see how she came to be! 🥹 We even wrote an entire dev blog about her back before release!
Check it out here 🍀
A gaming idea where you play as a janitor in the md universe sent jcj to clean up the solver mess. Gameplay wise it's sorta a mixture between darksouls and gtfo
You ever think about how in a lot of anime there is that trope of "with the power of friendship we can accomplish anything!" And usually that anime is very RPG themed. With paladins and magicians and what have you.
But you look at real world RPG's video games like Dragon Quest and it never really relies on friendship to make you strong. It is fighting slimes and leveling up threw combat.
Well, what if there was a game where friendship really was what made you stronger?
Also, just for fun, what if it was music based? What better way to represent teamwork and harmony than with the actual harmony of music?
You could be a knight, have your sword and shield, and whatnot. But the only way you can utilize those skills is if you are accompanied by a magical musician who plays an instrument and powers you up? And when not fighting monsters, you must form a friendship with this musician? The hopes being that the stronger your friendship is the better they play and the stronger you become?
And as you travel you gather more musicians.
You can pick from a plethora of different players. Violinists, Cello players, a trumpeter, etc.
You build a little parade of party members, and they accompany you in battle, and you gather strength from them.
The more musicians and the better your friendship is with them, the more beautiful the music.
And with the power of your friendship, you're able to beat that final boss and win the game!
You'd dont have to grind your levels on slimes all day to achieve this.
The only reason to fight low-level monsters is so you can get ingredients to craft gifts for your friends and increase friendships faster!
Every musican has got a different personality and intrests so talking and getting to know them is important.
That would be an intresting idea I think.
Who else wants a Danganronpa game, but with Dc characters?
Hear me out
-Both DC and Danganronpa characters are over the top
-Has plot twists so strong your neck would snap
-Cool designs
-At the top of their fields
- Have traumatic backstories
So, why hasn't anyone else seen the potential in this?!?
I just thought of the Most Metal Game Ever
Imagine Playing as the Doom Slayer and you Fight a Khorn Beserker, and you Fight more Metal Af shit like a Robo Demon Hitler, Crusade Knight, Cthulu. Other Shit that is considered METAL AS FUCK.
Realistic RPG Concept:
Choose your sex!
Choose your race!
Choose your Background!
Choose the kind of things you’re good at!
Game starts and your character is literally none of these. You’re a bald orc who grew up in the mages’ guild, you’re good at making hats & drinking beer.
Spend the rest of the game trying to reconcile your choices with the bullshit reality you were randomly assigned.
