£800 is a lot of money for a PC, but for a GAMING PC is doesn't stretch that far, so what items would you limit you budget on and what are your must have components?
I went with the following components (affiliate links) And this was around £825 at the time, but please do check the current pricing below if using Amazon or use the part finding methods at pcpartpicker
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor Amazon UK: https://amzn.to/2DJ3Jw8 Amazon US: https://amzn.to/2Xs1YuR Amazon CA: https://amzn.to/2RVkRFa Amazon DE: https://amzn.to/2W4U49T Amazon FR: https://amzn.to/2XkA8Bx Amazon ES: https://amzn.to/2KiQVRB Amazon IT: https://amzn.to/2WaPuaa ARCTIC Freezer 34 CPU Cooler https://amzn.to/2OJXY7K MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard https://amzn.to/2OLAJu3 Team T-Force Vulcan 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory https://amzn.to/2OKHv33 Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive https://amzn.to/2RjrdQy TCSunBow X3 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive https://amzn.to/2rSDWii Zotac GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6 GB Twin Fan Video Card https://amzn.to/34SpGFe In Win 101 ATX Mid Tower Case https://amzn.to/2LgXW51 RIOTORO ENIGMA G2 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply https://amzn.to/2YdOAwh ARCTIC P12 PWM PST(5-pack) 56.3 CFM 120 mm Fans https://amzn.to/34Mnoax
This takes me to just over the £800 budget, but with a few minor tweaks it can be easily reduced but this was my idea build scenario.
Optionally you could leave out the Arctic Freezer 34 and use that money to go for the Ryzen 3600x for a little more OC headroom and maybe ditch the mechanical drive? Or maybe a smaller SSD and keep the mechanical drive and use the extra to upgrade the CPU!!!!!!!
Too many options and ultimately it is for you to decide what you think is the best way to spend your money.
