பீகாரில், ப்ளஸ் 2 தேர்வில் முதலிடம் பெற்ற கணேஷ் குமார், வயதை மாற்றி முறைகேடு செய்திருப்பதாகத் தெரியவந்துள்ளது. இதையடுத்து, அவர் கைதுசெய்யப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

பீகாரில், கடந்த சில தினங்களுக்கு முன்னர் ப்ளஸ் 2 தேர்வு முடிவு வெளியானது. கடந்த ஆண்டு பொதுத் தேர்வில் அதிக அளவில் முறைகேடு நடந்ததையடுத்து கடுமையான கண்காணிப்பின் கீழ் தேர்வுகள் நடத்தப்பட்டன. இதனிடையே, 645 மாணவர்கள் தேர்வில் தோல்வியடைந்ததாகத் தகவல் வெளியானது. இது, கல்வி வட்டாரத்தில் பெரும் அதிர்ச்சியைக் கிளப்பியது.

இந்நிலையில், ப்ளஸ் 2 தேர்வில் முதலிடம் பெற்ற கணேஷ் குமார் கைதுசெய்யப்பட்டார். கலையியல் மாணவரான அவர், 82.6 சதவிகித மதிப்பெண் பெற்று, மாநிலத்தில் முதலிடம் பிடித்தார். உள்ளூர் செய்தித் தொலைக்காட்சி ஒன்றுக்குப் பேட்டியளித்த அவர், பல கேள்விகளுக்குத் தவறாகப் பதிலளித்துள்ளார்.  அதனால் சந்தேகமடைந்த கல்வித்துறை அதிகாரிகள், கணேஷ் குமாரிடம் விசாரணை நடத்தினர்.  அதில், அவர் முறைகேடுசெய்திருப்பது தெரியவந்ததால், போலீஸார் அவரைக் கைதுசெய்தனர்.
