Length and Cost: It is an approximately 594 km long greenfield expressway, built at an estimated cost of Rs. 32,600 crore.

The districts through which the expressway will pass include Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Budaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh, and Prayagraj. It will begin from Bijoli village in Meerut (east) and will conclude at Judapur Dandu village in Prayagraj (west).
Additional Aspects: The project incorporates a 3.5 km airstrip in Shahjahanpur for emergency landings and take-offs by the Indian Air Force. An industrial corridor will also be developed alongside the expressway to stimulate industrial development, trade, agriculture, and tourism in the region.

As per the latest reports from the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority, approximately 89% of the project's work has been completed. The Earth Work in the Main Carriageway has been 99% completed, and a total of 1489 structures have been completed. Furthermore, the Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) in the Main Carriageway has been 96%, and the Curb and Gutter (C&G) in the Main Carriageway has been completed 100%.
