abstragedy day 2: the confession (ft. gangle being an absolute mess)
*is sitting on top of your kitchen counter*
salutations, dear friend! nice to see you again! oh, and, by the way, i think your cool machines got broken. they kept beeping when i was opening your window with a bobby pin :c
*holds up your door camera, window locks, and smoke alarms, which have been fried. i gently place them on your kitchen table*
anyway, now that i’ve joined you here, i’ve got another very cool thing to show you! :3
*i then pull out a folder that’s filled to the brim. i take out a giant polaroid picture and place it between us on the kitchen table.*
*adjusting my glasses on the bridge of my nose* yeah, it would make a little bit more sense for the confession between them to be sweet, wholesome, drama-free…but where’s the fun in that? :3
plus, i think that it would track for one of the two to confess accidentally. both of them have so much complexity with their feelings about emotions in general, being confined to an eternal hellish video game, yadda yadda yadda…! so, my theory is that this would kind of discourage them from confessing, because nobody’s feelings are crystal clear and the circus is guaranteed to make anything ten times more confusing :>
so yeah my guess is that it’d literally have to be forced out of them. gangle specifically
the “backstory” behind this drawing is that basically, the two were separated from the rest for an adventure (or maybe caine put the whole group into pairs of 2), and it was some spy movie related something idk. didn’t put much thought into the actual adventure part.
but somewhere in the adventure, zooble almost fukn dies (not really but yk), and gangle saves them. this freaks gangle’s attachment issues self to her core, and despite the fact that they literally can’t die (even when they do abstract, they’re just kind of in that state forever), it still scared her because she’s lost so many other people before (headcanon). so, basically, gangle confesses right there in between other bounds of indecipherable word vomit. zooble was so confused lmao. gangle had to repeat herself more slowly later
