I'm not going to get to watch Titans for awhile can you tell me what happened to my son, Garfield? They didn't kill my baby off did they?
They ripped out a piece of his skull, experimented on his brain, figured out a way to control what he senses, and put in a trigger in his head that makes him turn into a tiger to maul the nearest person
They tested it by making him think he was in a room with Rachel and then playing the trigger
