I might not be posting as much as usual because I’m taking summer school.
I didn’t fail any classes (I’m actually doing pretty well, thank god), but the specific class can be used as a prerequisite for the colleges that I’m planning on applying to when I graduate.
(Basically imagine that you need X amount of points to join the college, and more specifically a main course that it offers [like psychology, law, etc.]. If you take certain classes in high school, they give you the point that you can use).
The problem is I need a -30 of the class (which is basically the highest class for it), but the only way I can get into -30 is if I first do -10 and -20. Right now I’m doing -10.

I almost had to do summer school for Language Arts (English) and take Social Studies (History with some modern-times) for two semesters next year because you can only go into the high classes if you were in the second highest classes the year before.
Luckily because I had several meetings with my guidance counselor where I talked about what I need to know for college and never ONCE did he think this would be a good thing to bring up, the principle stepped in and looked at my grades for both classes, then decided to just put me in the high classes.

That got away from me a little bit, but anyways yeah posts might be seen less frequently now, especially since ‘summer school’ is more ‘teaching myself at home without an actual teacher to make sure I’m doing this right.’
Also I’m pretty sure the guidance counselor was fired.
