The actual message that finally got my blog unblocked:
Hi. Although I fundamentally disagree with Tumblr's recent policy changes regarding adult content, and think it represents not only a complete lack of understanding about what constitutes potentially harmful content but also an act of violence against women and queer folks in particular, I deleted any posts on my fanart blog which did not meet new standards. Even after doing this, however, there is one post which has been "under review" since it was flagged, and has not been cleared (despite a post carrying an identical image--it was used to announce the release of a fanfiction--being marked "ok"). I'm not sure how the review process works, but if I understand correctly, my content on that blog is not viewable so long as this single post remains in nsfw limbo, and I'd like to get it cleared up. I don't know why tumblr reviewers have apparently spent weeks staring at a DRAWING OF A MAN'S BACK trying to decide if it counts as pornography (although perhaps I should take this as a compliment to my art skills?) but I really just want to be able to post and know that it's not just being projected into the void. If you can help me with this, that would be great. Thanks, Q
