y’all i’m just saying. ballotpedia is your friend. the way laws are written are often done so to be confusing on purpose, and ballotpedia will explain the items on your ballot in easy to understand, plain language. it also lists the impacts of said items, and lists people/organizations who are in support/opposition. so if you see the aclu supports something that sounds kind of confusing, you can know that it’s just that the proposition was written in purposefully obfuscating language and you can tell the writers of the proposition to fuck right off
