I have wanted to write this for some time and now that spring is approaching I think I need to more than ever. Gardening is not about lists. Gardening is about nature and the beauty that surrounds us. We sometimes take for granted the buzz of a bee or the scent of a rose.

So, for some reason Snow Patrol hits my sweet spot when it comes to songs that bring a tear to my eye. This one is merely the latest, with its melancholy nostalgia and its plaintive chorus. The video is not official, but whoever did it got the mood right.
That's my favourite song on the record. It's about my first love and the innocence of youth, playing in the garden. It's a song about my personal experience of that but also a universal thing about the girl that you fall in love with first. You're never able to really tell her, then she goes off and has her life and she'll never know how you feel about her
