I am thinking about what I would like my new garden here in Austin to look like. I am thinking and dreaming a lot. And I am looking for inspiration. Take this photo for example. To me this is a perfect garden. I like how it looks but I almost like even more how it makes me me feel. When I see this garden I start to breath more deeply and I sense a feeling of calmness. All that green is just so soothing to me. And as I stated in previous posts that I published here, I like the juxtaposition between the natural big and middle-sized trees and the formal cone-shaped topiaries. Of course, this is a big private garden in England and it has a terrific borrowed view, but our own new property has some big old trees and middle-sized trees growing on it as well that could be accompanied by similar shaped topiaries. Overall it would be on a much smaller scale, of course, but I feel something remotely similar could be created in our new garden as well. More to dream and ponder... What do you think of this garden? Do you use photos of other gardens as well to draw inspiration from for designing your own? Well, the weekend is near my friends and I am wishing all of you a wonderful one! . . . #gardendesign #garden #gardens #gardening #privategardens #topiary #topiaries #inspiringgardens #countryside #countryliving #englishcountryside #englishgardens #greengardens #greengarden #gardenparadise #calm #calming #calminggardens #gardensofinstagram (at Austin, Texas) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCen7M2AZHL/?igshid=1ic3mwydql55j
