My last post for this year is featuring a gray, green, and white garden that I visited many years ago in England. The subtle color nuances create a sophisticated and understated elegance and the large container with the beautiful gray green patina adds the perfect focal point. To me, this garden is very beautiful and it has an unusual almost noble and aristocratic feel! I am curious to hear if it appeals to you as well or not. It is the last day of 2020 and honestly, due to my mother becoming ill with a very aggressive form of cancer in July and loosing her to this merciless disease in November, it was one of the hardest years in my life. I am sure that is the case for many of you for various reasons as well. And yet, I am aware that I am still very privileged in comparison to many others and I want to be mindful of that. Still, one’s pain is one’s pain and it doesn’t become less because others are suffering too and maybe even to a much greater extend. I hope to heal next year and I wish that from the bottom of my heart for all of you who are suffering as well. With a vaccine on the horizon expected to be available to the broader public relatively soon at least we will most likely get some relief from Covid. All we can do is trying to stay calm, positiv, be kind to each other, honor the present moment, not loose hope and carry on. Every life, others and our own, is precious, unique, and beautiful in its fragility and finiteness. In 2021 I want to remember this and even more important act accordingly. Thanks for being here with me and for me! Much love and a happy and healthy New Year 2021 to all of you!
