Sollux’s thin finger came in gentle contact with the sleeping girl’s cheek, slowly shifting her head ever so slightly before quickly withdrawing. The troll swallowed thickly as Jade’s head rocked back into place on his tights. “Hey-” Sollux started before his voice clipped out in an embarrassing squawk. He cleared his throat carefully before continuing, “You are asleep on me. On my person you have fallen asleep. You need to wake up right about now would be fantastic.“ Even as his voice rose slowly to full volume the girl remained unresponsive. Sollux hummed anxiously as the weight of her head had begun to dig into if boney leg.

Stop and Smell the World (Terezi/Jade)

Sometimes Terezi didn’t quite feel like renting someone she’d spoken with before.  Whether it was to see if she could irritate the crap out of Tomori, or so she could spend more time with Karkat...sometimes she just wasn’t in one of those moods.  There were times where she wanted to rent someone she’d hardly even spoken to before.  Long as she was waiting around in here for the whole thing to come crashing down, she might as well get to know more people, right?

This was one of those times.  She’d noticed Jade Harley around the hold every now and then.  It wasn’t often enough to really know much about her aside from the fact that she lived here, but that was good enough.  She seemed to be pretty upbeat, which the blind troll liked.  Some of the people here were absolutely miserable, both in their personalities and to be around.  Seeing a bit of positivity every now and then was refreshing, so hopefully that really was the case and not just a misjudgement on her part.

Well, she’d find out soon enough.  It wasn’t very long before Terezi came to a stop right outside Ms. Harley’s door.  She knocked a few times, backing away from the door soon after.  “Anyone home?” she called out, not expecting a response aside from the door opening- or maybe a quick exclamation of affirmation.

Have a Nice Trip

Rose stretched Lazily as she stood from her bed, then crawled out smacking her lips. Another sweets craving, and an excuse to go bake some more. Not that she needed one anyway, but hey, justifications were always nice. Standing up once more, the short blonde stretched herself outside the confines of her comfy fort and went through her clothing to change into something more than pajamas, just a simple outfit, plenty of black having made its way back into her daily wardrobe. The only make up she bothered with was her lipstick, a deep maroon for a certain someone.

Ready as she cared to be she stepped out into the hall and moved towards the common room where she might make this or that. Her mind wandered as she made her way slowly, drifting in thought. Drifting... drifting... falling, falling, thunk.

She found herself face down on the floor of the hold after something had found its way between her foot and where it was going. Rolling over to see what she had tripped on, she was rather surprised to find someone as opposed to something. Squatting on her feet just above the girl, she gave her a few pokes in the back of the head, her hair kind of everywhere.

“I wasn’t aware this was a bed. I figured they had plenty more rooms around here.”

Pleasant Times in Hell (Jade and the Dolorosa)

For the short time that she had been here, Videmi hadn’t experienced a lot of the dreadful downsides being a slave in the hold held for people.  Despite her reunion with the others being interrupted by one of the place’s most detestable trolls, everything she’d been through so far hadn’t been entirely terrible.  Nevertheless, she knew better than to expect a lot of enjoyable times here.  The four were locked up in perhaps the most explicit symbol of the corruption that kept the system they’d fought against up and running, and it was a safe bet that most in here who had higher positions also had issues with them.  Good times would more than likely be a luxury.

Her recent arrival also meant she didn’t have much of a chance to explore the hold.  In asking around a bit, she’d come to learn about a courtyard located in the central area of the ground floor- supposedly quite the lovely place.  After searching around a bit she found one of the doors to it, opening it to step outside into the fresh afternoon air.  As she’d been told, it was incredible- not only was the current weather wonderful, but the copious flowers planted all around were beautiful.  For such a place to be literally in the middle of the Empire’s twisted prison meant to break its opposition...it almost seemed to be mocking them.

Still, it couldn’t hurt to make an effort to enjoy the things she’d been handed that weren’t completely awful.  She walked around the courtyard, admiring the colorful petals planted in such eye-catching ways.  She caught sight of a human in the same area, though this didn’t yet stop her admiration- however unconsciously reluctant it was.

Time to Spare

Sollux shuffled into the common area of the slave hold. He could feel the beginnings of a dizzy spell playing at the corners of his mind, but he still could stand one more second in that room. Even the computer the slave hold provided only served frustrated him. He needed some new tech and fast before he had full blow withdraws. As he entered he saw a lone human with wires, clocks, and tiny gears spread on the table in front of her. As much as being social seems to drag on his already blue. mood, he walked over and watched her delicately work on the equipment. "What is it you're exactly doing with all this junk?" Sollux winced slightly as his high voice sliced through the silence of the room.

A Harley Crocker © Experience

Lately there seemed to be a handful of newbies around, all of which John was more than eager to meet. He’d already had the questionable pleasure of meeting the future heiress, and now he was about to meet one Jade Harley - or at least that’s who the paper said he’d rented. The glimpses he’d seen of her at the auction made her seem kind enough. That didn’t at all entail that he wouldn’t give her hell with the pranks he’d set up for her. What better way to welcome this lovely girl to the hold than a multitude of pranks set up by John Crocker himself? As per the usual, his apartment was cleaned that morning in preparation, with the guest room nicely made. He was more than thankful to be back here than where he’d spent the last two weeks at the Strider’s household. Those days had been frustrating, to say the least, and he was pleased that they were over and done with. He could now focus on this new guest he was about to have. He waited patiently on the couch of his apartment, boredly flipping through the latest issue of the Crocker Corporation’s magazine. He’d sent for guardbots to escort the lovely lady to his home, waiting on them to bring her here.
