Meet the American Oystercather. Don’t let the name fool you, this bird has nothing to do with USA. The Oystercather is endemic to the Galápagos Islands! So it should be called the ‘Latin American Oystercather’ 😅🌟⭐️ . . I was so luck to capture this shot. While all my group members was walking up and down the magical Gardner Bay beach on the south side of Española island, I saw this beauty taking a break. I sat down on the crystal white soft and warm sand and waited. As I took out my camera this guy showed up. Apparently they are incredibly shy which explains the lack of photos out there. 🌊☀️✨🌟⭐️💫 . . I quickly snapped my shot and said thank you to this beautiful ‘american’ Oystercather 🙏🏻💫⭐️🌟💛🌝☀️ . . Check back tomorrow for my contest details. The contest will ONLY be running for 1 week!! 🙌🏻🙃🙂⭐️💫🌟💛 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #americanoystercather #gardnerbay #oyster (at Gardner Bay, Española, Galapagos Islands) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bvov1JyAoN6/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=q2j2n4c8x4gi
