With the mild flavor of halibut and the richness of garlic and Parmesan, Garlic Parmesan Halibut is a tasty and easy seafood dish. It's great for a quick dinner during the week or a special event.
Ingredients: 4 halibut fillets 6 ounces each. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 2 tablespoons butter, melted. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley. Salt and black pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat the oven broiler. Season halibut fillets with salt and black pepper. In a small bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and chopped parsley to make a paste. Place halibut fillets on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Spread the Parmesan mixture evenly over the top of each fillet. Broil in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Serve hot, garnished with additional chopped parsley if desired.
