This hearty Amish Chicken recipe combines tender chicken breasts with a rich and creamy sauce, infused with the flavors of garlic and fresh parsley. It's a comforting dish that's perfect for a cozy family dinner.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 1/4 teaspoon paprika. 2 tablespoons butter. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 cup chicken broth. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped.
Instructions: Salt, pepper, and paprika should all be mixed together in a shallow dish. Cover chicken breasts with the flour mix and shake off extra. In a big pan, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. It will take about 4 to 5 minutes on each side for the chicken breasts to turn golden brown after you add them. Take the chicken out of the pan and set it aside. Put minced garlic in the same pan and cook for one minute. Add chicken broth and scrape the pan's bottom to get rid of any browned bits. Add heavy cream and bring to a low boil. Put the chicken back in the pan and let it cook for another 5 to 7 minutes, or until it's fully cooked and the sauce has thickened. Add chopped parsley as a garnish before serving.
