Even Leo’s happiest dreams felt somewhat bitter, since he would always remember how they ended. But he smiled sadly as he watched his mom working under a car, talking to the small child version of Leo as she worked. 

Esperanza Valdez. She had been a beautiful woman who, despite everything, never hated his father. He was pulled out of his silent bittersweet feelings when he felt like someone was watching this with him.

“Green isn’t a very creative color, you know.”  He knew this wasn’t Link, but goddesses, did he remind him of the thorn in his side.  It’s not even that Link was really his enemy, it was just a really dumb misunderstanding between the both of them.  Octavo was just trying to save Hyrule!  But, that’s a tangent for another day.

Granted he was getting ready to perform for the music festival in Cotes, some criticism from a strange man who resembles Vaati was always welcome.  Right?
