The #Mattel #intellivision was released in 1980 as competition to the then dominant #atari 2600. The console boasts far better specs than the 2600 but with its expensive price and comparatively small library of games, the video game market crash made short work of this baby. The progression of the #gameboy. ROLL CALL. From the left we've got the original 8 but baby released in Australia in 1990, this issued a new age of portable gaming. Next is the gameboy pocket (1997) and the gameboy color (1999) which brought colour portable gaming to Australia. Last but not least the gameboy advance (2002) double the portable bits we could hold in a our little hands. Well folks, it all started here. Some people blame Duchamp, I blame rob and the nes. Released in america in 1985 and a year later in Australia, this little 8 bit beauty took a few years to take off in a market saturated by sega.
