carol being ko’s prom date and him being ecstatic by that fact. gar and carol dancing, with gar saying another full sentence to her (granted, he short-circuited even just trying to get that sentence out, but imma let the man have his win). brandon and magi lying about having dates to impress the other but then just going together, with that frankly illegally adorable dressage exchange scene. nick and joff just being together together in the background casually the freaking cuties (love them clocking brandon and magi as well, they were totally being like “aww, we were like that once” <3). rad finally being in with the alleyway teens and being so gosh darn happy about it, as well as his whole dance battle with raymond (the killer moves, raymond being a fabulous diva but still getting gloriously humbled - pure perfection). enid being allergic to the crap mainstream music and then finally being able to jam out to her own tunes (the fact that dj-ing is one of the only things she actually shows she cares about and takes seriously is so precious to me). being able to see all the background/minor characters just enjoying the party alongside the main characters is so refreshing and amazing (i adore colewart and potato’s antics and their adorable prom picture).
it’s genuinely one of my favourite episodes of any show ever. they all mean so much to me. i love shows which just embrace showing the normal life of its characters, shows which aren’t afraid to have slow moving episode plots. ok ko is literally one of if not the most comforting tv series i’ve ever watched; all the characters have their own personalities and are just so fleshed out, even if they’re only supposed to be minor characters, and idk it just makes me so happy. the show makes me feel like a little kid again in the best way possible - it makes me laugh and cry and get cuteness aggression strong enough to level freaking mountains and i adore it. ok ko makes life worth living and is one of the greatest things created by mankind.
anyway go watch ok ko let’s be heroes if you haven’t already, i just think it’s neat :3
