Yeah I did, back when I lived in Paramus, New Jersey. Middle school there was fucking great. It wasn't a shit hole and everyone was really nice & not trouble makers. It was a sort of "richer" area of town though so I think that could've been why. (I also don't remember there being a super large amount of students)

Middle school there started from 5th grade and went until 8th. We had elective classes that were given to us & cycled throughout the grade. 8 classes a day 45 minutes each, + a 45 minute lunch break in which after 15 minutes we could go outside & play.

Elective classes were art, home ec (sewing and Cooking were 2 different classes but still the same thing) "technology class" which taught the basics of building & such, woodshop, later on 8th graders that I knew of could take a plastic-working class, and Music & Choir weren't classes but p. much clubs that met in the morning. we had a drama class & 5th & 6th graders could audition for the school play that we had every year but the good parts were always given to the 7th and 8th graders.

our school dances weren't typical dances, like, there was dancing but there was also super fun shit like those stupid blow up bouncy castles & junk and sometimes they'd bring in arcade machines. I have no idea where the hell they got this stuff but it was fucking amazing. (Maybe our fundraisers were hella idk)

Ummmm i remember there was also an ice cream vending machine in the cafeteria and the cafeteria food wasn't shitty. it was fucking good especially the pizza on fridays (Pizza day). Sometimes they'd serve stuffed crust and it was fucking great. I think lunch was like 5+ Dollars though I'm not entirely sure.

I only went to this school for like, 2 years but DAMN was it fuckign fantastic. And this was like a public school at that like ????

Then once i moved to SC i was like "This isn't school. this is a prison" and was absolutely shocked by how shitty it was. The food sucked, the people sucked, the building was dirty and gross, and it was just super weird and 'alien' to me, lack of a better term. not to mention everything was super crowded and I remembered several people getting lunch detention/suspended left & right (I never got in trouble ever at my old middle school but this place i got suspended 5 fucking times)

But uh, yeah. Another thing that stuck out was at the SC middle school you needed a "Good behavior" card to go outside???? lIke???? Going outside is taken away if you get a lunch detention????? The fuck??

a lot of people need outside time man :/
