He was Mike, of course, just because Gabriel apparently had to be Phoebe, clearly. And Cas and Dean's love story was moving as Ross and Rachels according to Gabe.

Dean was Rachel.

When he could finally open the door -the goddamned keys were obviously at the bottom of all the paperwork- he found his angel sitting alone on the sofa next to some blankets, zapping his fingers at the rythm of some old blues.

"So you decided to just skip work today I see..." he smiled amused walking towards the empty spot on the couch

"I thought you could bring the bread home now that you are a well recognized lawyer..."

Sam pushed him by his shoulder "Lazy..." Gabriel just smiled back "Do I need to remind you you are still the boss and should speak with the exaple?"

"Mmhh feeling kinky Sasquatch? Want to be my sexy secretary?"

"Asshole." he stated half chuckling and leaned back to kiss him softly as a greeting "Wasn't Dean's day off today? I thought he said he was going to spend it with the kids here, where is he?"

"Well, right now I think he's somewhere between our room and the kitchen wall... Nope, not anymore, he just walked inside a playroom..."

"We don't have a playroo-" and there Sam noticed the anrchangel was still snapping his fingers "GABRIEL!!" he jumped to grab the other man's hand "Where is he now? Bring him back!"

"Relax Sambo-" Gabriel started but was interrupted by a shout and footsteps coming into the room

"SAMMY!" of course, cause this was his fault, he looked at Gabriel

"The kids just wanted to play hide and seek with Deano and I just wanted to help them..."

"Oh my god. Where are the kids Gabriel?"

Suddenly, out of the big ball of blackets to liitle bodies jumped Gabriel to land on his lap at the happy screams of "Daddy!" and "Uncle Sammy!" at once

After giving him a kiss on the cheek the little girl hanging from his side looked at Gabriel "Did we won Uncle Gabe? Did we beat Dad?"

"Of course you did kiddo! Did you ever doubt it?" he answered smiling

An even smaller boy sitting in his lap tugged from his work shirt to get his attention "Pappa help us hide under magic blanckets so we could won and have cookies" he whispered softly like he was confiding a big secret

"He did so, didn't he?" he said smiling at his son and turning one more time to the archangel "And you thought playing with Dean was funnier than playing with blankes...."

Gabriel shrugged "Can you blame me?"

He chuckled and looked at his brother, sitting defeated were the pile of blankets and kids used to be, beer in one hand, cookies on the other

"I am never going to win am I?" he said smiling to his daughter as she grabbed one cookie for her and passed another to his cousin

"Not when uncle Gabriel plays with us, is the rule"

"Yeah?" Sam asked "And who put that rule?"

"Uncle Gabriel."

Sam laughed as Gabriel patted his niece's head

"Of course he did."

So Mar tags things and then tags me in them and things get out of hand

So I made her this on the bus

He started walking through the corridor of the house wondering if he was going in the right direction. it wasn't like he didn't knew the house, like this was his first time there, he just always wonders when he's alone. Even if at the end he always ended up were he intended to be, Gabriel just had this thing about changing things inside his own house and he still wasn't really sure where the nursery was, or even Samandriel's room.

If you asked Dean, Gabriel just liked to move things around for his amusement and probably so he wont find them so easily, he would, the asshole.

He walked straight through the route leading to the kitchen, if he was right Gabriel and Sam's room was the nearest and the nursery was probably right next to it, as a door leading to a place that couldn't physically even be there.

It was clearly much easier to find than what his paranoia let him believe, specially when he heard the sound of humming in the silence of the almost empty penthouse.

He stood on the open door and looked inside at Castiel's back, he was standing facing the window with Andrew on his arms. It didn't look like he had noticed him and Dean didn't want to interrupt, so he stood there, his weight resting against the door frame.

It had been a pain in the ass to convince Sammy to let them take care of the kid, he understood it was hard, it wasn't like he didn't trust them, it was more about the 'what if's, what if something happened to him? What if something happened and they weren't there? It was normal, he remembered the first time they looked after Zepp, he had threaten them both with holy oil, and he wasn't even leaving for a hunt, Gabriel had just thought he and Cas -and specially him according to the annoying archangel- needed a day for themselves. And still, they had to practically drag him out of the house.

Lucky for him, Gabriel just told them to call him if anything happened, and then looked like he was giving his angel blade to Lucifer himself or something. Sammy's lower lip must have been purple under his teeth.

He wondered if he and Cas had looked that funny to them too.

The silence of the room brought him back from his thoughts to look at his angel slowly turning around to face him with a small but pleased smile.

"Hey" Dean whispered finally walking into the room and towards the only other awake member of the family "looks like you made it..."

"He was feeling lonely." Castiel explained like it was necessary, he looked up from his sleeping nephew to stare back at those green eyes "What about Zeppelin? Is she asleep?"

"I had to promise her she would keep playing with her cousin tomorrow after breakfast, but she's now sleeping in our bedroom here" he sighed and a chuckle scaped from his lips "for a second I thought I would have to promise the same to Samandriel to be honest, I'm glad he just went to sleep like... Well, like a human."

"He does enjoy very much human pleasures as sleeping" the angel replied leaving the baby softly on his crib

"Well he does have a bunch of well-adjusted-to-human-pleasures brothers to learn from" he joked grabbing the other by the back of his waist "What were you humming to him? Looks like it worked pretty good..."

"When we were... Created, when we where what you would call kids, babies even... Sometimes Gabriel used to come and sing to us, it was always a different lullaby... He always said he was bored and I didn't understad but... I think he just liked it, being around the new angels, playing with us, singing songs in enochian to calm us down... I thought maybe Gabriel did this with Andrew and it will comfort him."

"And you actually remember all this songs...?"

"Of course."

"Well aren't you just the best brother and best uncle ever?" he smiled against the other's shoulder, looking at the baby sleeping pacefully "Everything okay...?"

Castiel looked back with concerned blue eyes

"Do you think it's okay to just leave him here? What if he wakes up? Isn't our bedroom too far away? What if something happens? I guess I could just stay here, or we could sleep in Sam and Gabe's room for the night-"

"Nothing is going to happen Cas, come on" Dean smiled reassuringly "And even if he wakes up crying we already took the baby monitor to the room and you can just zap here the second you hear something" the other man relaxed a bit and nodded so he started to guide them both to their room "besides, I really don't need to sleep were our brothers have kinky sex..."

"Considering this is their home they had probably engaged into kinky sex in most parts of the house."

"And that was exactly the image I did not want in my head, thanks Cas..."

"You are welcome."

And now just the family, okay? The Garverse family too! We gave Sandy a room at Gabe’s too, yes, yes we did. He is going to start university, and he works selling fastfood even if Gabriel says he doesn’t have to, but he doesn’t want to ask for more than what Cas and Gabe and Balths are already giving him, Mar almost gave him Cas’ room at Gabe’s, but honestly, archangel of the lord here, Sandy has another room just for himself.

So yeah… Welcome to the familyx2 xD

So this is a post about the Garverse for my favourite anon, under a read more so it wont bother you all

There's a tag on my blog for this verse, clearly the Garverse tag.

There are 3 fics there, but they are mostly drabbles with not any big developement so it's not like you need to read them or anything. But if you do I recomend you to start for the oldest one, not becuase of the continuity but because it was the first I wrote based on a conversation with Mar and another friend and in all humility I like to think they get better as I know more about the characters and how to write them

Everything started like a joke and we ended up doing a hole verse tbh, that is the only truth about this. xD

Things you need to know: There is Sabriel and there is Destiel (bet you werent expecting this), Sam and Cas go to college and Dean works as a mechanic and Gabe is a lawer (at his own firm thank you very much, cause the sassy archangel of the lord aint gonna take any order from you)

Here apocalypse never happened so yay cookies for us! And instead of just going on like "oh we adverted the end of the world we could take a little res-LOOK A WITCH LETS GO HUNTING!" thay actually take a bit of time off to, you know, live... They still hunt tho, here and there, good ol' saltsn'burnd, but mostly on weekends or when there's some threat near...

Sam and Cas don't really work, tho Cas has a part time job at the college library, and on summer when he is not studing Sam gets a job at a lawfirm as sort of a secretary (Not at Gabe's firm, where he doesnt even try to get a job Cause Gabriel is willing to give. There is an unwrote drabble that we already wrote with Mar in our heads about the time Sam gets tired of being treat like shit on this firm and accepts Gabe's offer) I think here was mostly where the real Sabriel deal starts. Also office kink and library kink but sh we do not meassure our headcanons with accurate and appealing kinks pls.

Castiel is studying theology and Sam law (duh). The second one lives with Dean while the first one stays at the dorms (Eventho he is more than welcome to stay at Gabriel's place... Is not like he is at the dorms much the moment Destiel starts anyways...)

Balthazar is here too. He does have a house of his own, somewhere, no one really knows much about what he does, no one really cared to ask either, the important thing is that he is there and lives more at Gabriel's than at his own house, that and that he is a classy motherfucker and does something related to fashion, but no one is quite sure what either... (Yes, this is the headcanon, is not like Mar and I do not know, this is actually how it works on the verse, Balthy is there and we love him but wtf does he with his free time besides partying no one really bothers to look)

He also tends to bring his one night stands to his place at Gabe's (Balthazar and Castiel both have their own room at Gabriel for use as they please when they feel like it) so is not weird to see Gabriel having breakfast while laughing with this model-like woman you will probably not ever see again.

Gabriel lives in a huge penthouse by the way... Yeah, he is pretty proud of his place...

If you are family you are very welcome to come in, which means Castiel and Balthazar can come and go as they pleased and by extention both Winchester could if they wanted, mostly because for Gabriel they are Cas' family too so it counts, and well maybe a little because of that annoyed growl Dean makes every time Gabriel says he and Cas can come as much as they want at his place...

Gabriel also likes to cook, the human way yes, and he likes it a lot. Specially when it comes to cakes and pies and any other sweet thing you can think could be done. And after lots of paranoia Dean had finally accepted that Gabriel could mess with a lot of things, but he will not mess with food, so when Gabriel comes and offers Chocolate cake to Cas hoping this time his baby brother will take it he is the one saying yes instead.

There was this time (or maybe even times) when Dean wondered out loud why would an angel with the power of just zaping things to existence will take the time to cook, Balthazar always takes this moments to bitch about how he likes to make a big mess and there if flour everywhere and everything looks more post apocalyptic than just a single man cooking, Gabriel says it's fun and he likes it, and that's the reason you should do things, Dean doesn't really mind the free pie so thats more than enough for him, and Bathazar could say anything he wanted, not like that would change that big soft spot he has for Gabriel's special cookies with extra chocolate chips (specially if they just came out of the oven)

Now now, further into the verse, and because Mar and I are... Well mostly because Mar and I are Mar and I... xD we gave them kids, yes, yes we did, no you don't need to thank us (?).

Dean and Cas have this lovely girl called Zeppeling, who was not invented by us in all honesty, but Mar says it's okay to keep her because she is perfect and so is who made her.

Now back in our verse, Gabriel and Sam helped with all the paperwork, and that about what we added to this family cause it's already perfec and you don't mess with this level of perfection...

After Zepp came, Mar and I apparently didn't think this was enough (because of course it isnt, its never enough to us) so we gave Sam and Gabe a perfect baby boy called Andrew. And I'd love to tell you how this ended up like this but all I remember are screams of joy while talking with Mar on a Facebook post about this, Andrew Garfield and his amazing hair where at some poit there too, I think thats how Mar picked up the name... Yeah I gonna pass most of the blame to Mar here, even if I was there too she started all xD I think... xD

We don't have a lot about Andy yet, but I can tell you his mother was Gabe's and Sam's client (and allow me please to have a Sabriel shipper necessary second as I told you that to this point this firm is runned for both of them *takes a minute* thanky you moving on) and when she ended up going to jail, she had left his baby son at the care of his always loyal and faithful Lawyers. So when the kid appeared on Sam's office one morning he kinda freaked out a bit... Yeah it was going to be provisory, just a couple of days, maybe a couple of hours... But then momma went to jail and actually signed all the papers so they could keep him... (IMPORTANT POINT: This was what we got after we "cleaned" all the rough idea we had around this, but we are still uncomfortable with sending the poor woman to jail so this main change soon! xD)

Of course before this second they were both freaking the fuck out because they never really raised a kid (yeah okay,they knew how to, and hours of babbysitting Zep were a nice bonus, but they never really did raise by themselves) and they so not saw this coming... They could have also called Dean and Cas for help the very second they knew they will have to stay with the kid the first day, but there was something about calling their brothers and hearing the patronizing tone they wil use to teach them everything they were about to do wrong that was less that appealing... So they just freaked out and tried to keep the baby happy...

And honestly, you would have thought they were going to be worst... Well, they probably did at least... There is this point when Sam rises the baby in his arms to move him around so he will fall asleep and Gabriel just sees him, he just looks at him, with the baby so calm and pleased, and everything is just so beautiful..

*takes a break*

Sorry. Sabriel feelings. But yeah basically that. So they keep Andy and the OTF has grown once again

And congratulations now!! You have successfully succeded the Garverse headcanon!!!

P.S.2: There is a special selection of still unwritten fics of the Garverse in which basically Mar and I made the watch series and get broke, becuase we are the worst ever. The main fandoms are Harry Potter (introduced to them by Sam) Firefly (introduced to them by Dean) BBC Sherlock (Introduced by Castiel) and Doctor Who/Torchwood (by Garbiel). Balthazar is wise enough not to participate much of this Gar-broken-by-fandoms-verse, but he mostly laugh about them. There are special headcanons about this particular arc, you can ask for them too if you still are interested and not running away from this insanity as you should XD

Author's notes: So either we stop speaking Mar or I stop writing fics about it... Also wrote under my usual sleep depravation and a bit of a cold.. And uhm, what else? Oh yes, Idek man, I'm sorry okay? Idk why do you let me write this crap Mar. You're kinda the responsible bro here, you should stop me... Even if you can't

And god I most certanly should re-read this but I am so not gonna...

   He wasn't expecting to find his brother sitting on the edge of his bed, legs crossed over the mattress and a childish smile on his face.

Then again no one would really expect to find the archangel Gabriel with his lips curled up, sitting on their houses like he was a five years old, not even Castiel, but at least the angel wasn't that surprised either.

"Baby bro!" Gabriel welcomed him to his own bedroom with his arms open in the air

"Gabe." he responded "Do you need anything?"

"Ouch! You hurt me Cassy! Can't a big mighty brother check on his little baby angels just because?"

Castiel stared at him for a moment, the archangel assumed little Cas was just deciding if he was joking or not

"It is late, you have work tomorrow, I have college" he resumed his walk and sat besides his brother turning his face to look at him "How are you brother?"

The golden eyes litted up with joy when the other started the conversation "I'm pretty fine thank you, and how are you?"

"I'm good..." he paused, feeling he was fighting a yawn he didn't even need "I'm tired... And sleepy..."

"Boohoo, should I let you sleep then?" Gabriel asked with a pout that quickly became a smirk, he moved as closer as he could, noses almost touching "But come on Cassy, are you going to tell me Dean-o wears you out that much? That aint proper of an angel of the lord..."

"Is not Dean" he answered quickly, almost trying to ignore what his brother said last, trying to ignore the bits of truth it had "It's just college. Dean never tires me... And I haven’t seen him in a while now, with all the exams and papers..."

He made another paused and looked away from the eldest’s eyes, not because he was ashamed, he wasn't still quite sure how shame worked, but seeing the golden gaze upon him, waiting, ready to hear anything he wanted to tell, it made him feel suddenly uncomfortable, not like he couldn't trust his brother but more like he was about to trust him with something big, with something he haven't said out loud yet, for a second he wondered if this was what Sam meant as embarrassment

"I miss Dean..." He blurted out, looking distractedly at his fingers

Gabriel let out a sight, half relief, because even if he didn't have to admit it, his body tensed when he saw how stressed Castiel looked

He put a hand over the messy black hair and shifted his position a bit to sit closer "I'm sorry baby bro..." his voice was softer, honest. He moved his had to hug the angel from over the shoulders "Hey I could just smite some of your teachers to make you happy..." he added in a more playful tone and then shrugged "But then again you and Sam don't tend to appreciate that kind of little jokes..."

Castiel's face and shoulders relaxed a bit "No, I won’t appreciate it of course, I wouldn't believe Sam will either. Besides we need the teachers to pass the classes." he explained

"So you want me to smite all the class then?" the archangel came back acting exited, the hand that wasn't hugging his brother moving in front of his face, trying to make him imagine all the possibilities "I could make everyone forget about it! I would even erase it from your college documents and all!"

A slight, almost invisible smile appeared on Castiel’s lips "There is no need for that, I can cope"

“Aw come on Cassy!” he took his arms from around his little brother and crossed them over his chest “See? I’m always offering my help from the bottom of my heart and that’s what I get!” he continued, acting offended for a few more seconds before changing furrowed eyebrows for a fake surprise, his elbows on his again crossed legs, the back of his hands holding his chin “What if I just pout long enough? Would that make your decision to let me erase everything easier?” he offered, already doing it

A soft, sincere laugh came out of Castiel’s mouth, and for a second Gabriel wasn’t sure if he was just amused or there was actually a bit of relieve, of gratefulness for the help offered, even if he disapproved of the method.

“No Gabe, you can’t smite any of my classes.” He answered looking once again at the archangel “I need them. And I like them. I’m just tired, is normal.” Castiel looked up staring at nothing in particular, like if an old, not completely accepted realization was hitting him again “I am so human sometimes”

The words came so natural they just lingered in the air for a second before Gabriel tapped his shoulder and said “Jeez that you are Cassy, can’t deny it…”

It was honest but playful, trying to light the mood, trying to make the subject pass like a joke, but he could see the other angel tense again, avoiding looking to his direction

And the archangel could see this unspoken conversation was terrifying Cas, Gabriel knew it, he could feel it, because he had lived in the human world long enough, because he had been an angel and a trickster and a pagan god, because he knew what was like to fall from grace, to feel far from it, far from home, because he have talked with his little brother about humanity, about the things he have seen, the things humans have done, and half of them in the name of some god.

So Castiel was scared, and confused, because he knew humanity, he had seen humanity himself and he had heard about it from most his brothers, and he had fallen, like lots of them, and he wasn’t sure how much of a cursed and how much of a bless he had from humans anymore, sometimes Gabriel thought he wasn’t even sure how much of a bless he did still had from home, or maybe even how much of a bless it was.

“But it’s kind of a good thing you know?” The archangel said putting his feet down on the floor so they could be side by side, looking too at the closed door that was in front of them “I mean, in you. I said it as a compliment and all…” he turned himself a bit to look at him again “There are tons of good humans out there Cassy, and if you were a human you would be one of them”

When Castiel looked back at him he seemed more relaxed, with one of those really unusual smiles, with one of those relieved looks people had on their faces when they are being accepted, when they understand is okay to just be, to make your own decisions, to have your own mistakes, to just be received.

Gabriel smiled brightly at him, just letting the other know how happy it made him that he could actually gave him that, because he didn’t know how many more time his little brother was going to receive that acceptance from somebody else, at least from the family. As a matter of fact, he actually did know how he wasn’t going to, because he was there once, turning his back to that, leaving heaven alone.

“You would suck as a Trickster thou” He said with his usual smirk on again, suddenly making his brother appeared in some ridiculous –but comfortable- pajamas under the bed covers

Castiel’s eyes looked lost for less than a second before turning to his brother with a stern look “You know I don’t appreciate when you do that.”

“I know, that’s what makes it funny” he smiled innocently “Now now off to bed, I don’t want you all grumpy in the morning because you didn’t have your beauty sleep”

The younger angel was about to complain when he realized he was just not going to win against his brother tonight. Instead he made himself comfortable and looked at Gabriel one more time “Goodnight then, Gabe”

“Sweet dreams” he smiled, seeing his brother’s eyes getting close “You are a good human baby bro, a better angel, but a good human”

“Thanks” the voice already rusty and sleepy, and a smile that was getting lost on some fantasy “I try to be”
