WHEN GAS WAS LIGHT
A rare set of Period " Gasolier " wall sconces comprised of 2 double and one single sconce. Stunning brass casting with a beautiful patina. Gasoliers where transition , made in the period when gas lighting was starting to be replaced by electric lighting but not quite yet, so you had the option of using one or the other. Pair of American brass and wrought iron hanging gasolier lanterns with centered bulbous iron spheres, scrolled side arms supporting upper chains, vented tops, four panel glass sides, and terminating on a decorative scrolled lower brackets with centered tapered finials, Mid-19th century. Lanterns were originally gas and have been electrified. Pair are in working condition.

GASOLIER
All original American Arts & Crafts period light fixture, 1910s , combination of gas and electric light . Just rewired and ready to hang, the gas arm are not functional at the moment , just decorative but they could be restored or turned to electric ( we prefer to leave it as is) Fantastic and original patina to the brass . Most likely made by R.Williamson and Co. out of Chicago, IL.
