Domestic life w Gate

I could’ve sworn I wrote something like this before?? I guess not

*Domestic life with Gate is… interesting to say the least

*There are times where he’s sweet and helps you get through your morning routine/does your morning routine with you, then there are times where he’s super busy with projects

*you’re more likely to be the one to do house chores, but if he notices you’re too tired or busy or overwhelmed, he’ll take over the house chores for the time being

*however, the only chore he can’t take over is cooking. This dude can’t cook to save his life. He can help with certain tasks but that’s about it, which you’re fine with since you know he technically doesn’t need to eat

*when you are about ready to wind down for the day, you two will actually spend the evening together either watching tv or a movie or just chatting about whatever comes to mind

*…sometimes you’ll ask Gate about his projects just to hear him ramble, which actually puts you to sleep, which he finds kinda annoying but also kinda cute, but only because it’s you. If it were anyone else, he’d wake them up and get mad.

*many others think that Gate does not like Alia, but this is not the case! He still sees her as a sort of friend in a sense, but he will never say this out loud

*Gate wants to dislike her for what happened in the past, but he just can’t bring himself to do so

*he has a bit of trouble making friends or getting close to others, due to his personality

*or when he does make friends, he tends to drive them away

*so when you wanted to be friends with him, it caught him off guard at first

*after getting closer to you, he becomes a bit protective of you

*…which only got worse when you two started dating.

*Gate may not be the most affectionate, but he does his best for you

*you don’t mind it too much, as long as you can at least hold his hand

*which he will allow when you are in public. He will only allow other forms of affection when the two of you are away from others.

*He only becomes clingy when it comes to you, his s/o

*He’ll either you hold you close to him and not let you go for a few hours

*he absolutely adores your chaotic personality and will want to commit crimes with you

*you like bouncing ideas off of him, since he tends to like whatever you come up with

*he will occasionally compliment you on how smart you are, but of course that’s if no one else is around

*you two are closer to each other than anyone else, only because Dynamo is awful with meeting others and you just don’t feel like meeting new people

*or you both scare off others, which you don’t mind too much

*Gate really likes having you around, and as his partner

*your chaotic nature is kinda what drew him to you

*considering that you’re a Hunter and he.. did bad things

*Gate took a bit of time to trust you, and vice versa

*you did both like each other, it’s just when you both found out about who you were, things took a little turn

*but after some time, you two became pretty close

*you may not completely forgive what he did in the past, but that doesn’t stop you from loving him
