About my Reinterpretation of MMX:

Some characters are gonna be human beings here, like Alia, Red, Dr.Doppler and Gate

Alia is a human being because I wanted a foal to Sigma that he couldn’t simply neutralize by Infecting them; Alia here represents “the means to an end”, she, X and Zero have this trio dynamic between them— Zero is the Start, Alia is the Middle, X is the End of the Maverick War— She studies the reasons why it started in the first place, and she gave the tools to X to end Sigma.

Now, the reason why Sigma also couldn’t simply kill her too it’s because here she’s gonna be the creator of the New Gen Reploids; She has a double edged sword aspect to her, letting her alive can prove to be dangerous, but Sigma is the character that isn’t afraid to tempt with fate if that means he will get something out of it.

Alia is a genius. And Sigma doesn’t seem to have a problem in using humans in his favor.

I will say: I’m afraid to make her too important, (she’s a secondary character. But i don’t know man… she has potential to be the “Dr.Light” of the MMX saga. Specially after X5.

Ok, that’s a ME thing, but I believe Light should have disappeared after X5.

He was on his deadbeat when X was finished, he can’t keep creating every single armors and sending messages to X. I believe that him disappearing after X5 is even symbolic in a way, as X not gonna have the help of his father anymore— it’s… gosh, this shit makes me upset because someday we will all outlive our parents. We’re not gonna have their assistance forever.

I’m gonna cry writing this, I’m so sure.

But it does end in a hopeful note, as X will Not Be Alone Against The World as he thought he would be). (Alia and X are… mirrors? I think that’s the word. X was raised by a human, Alia was adopted by a Reploid. X is responsible for the existence of Reploids, Alia is responsible for the existence of the New Gen. They trusted on the wrong people and ruined someone’s life— Iris and Gate— and they went insane) (Maybe Alia is the first genetic modified human… so her and X are also unique) (Am i exaggerating??)

Anyway. In X6 she’s responsible to create some armors for X. But, in X7 and X8, this role goes to Pallete, as Alia exits the Hunters after X6 for another project— The New Gen Reploids— the project that Sigma also has great interest in, the project that the government in interest in.

Everyone wants it. I hope nothing bad happens.

(Extra information, edit: Alia is not Axl’s creator; Sigma was his director, therefore his “Father”. He tried to pull the good old “husband steals his wife’s work and takes the credits” once. But failed.

I think Axl and Lumine would came from the same schematics? But Axl came from the old unfinished version; Sigma wanted to do his own thing, but when that didn’t work out the project was abandoned.

Axl was never meant to be a prototype.

Also, another thing, the Chameleon chip, that thing from Command Mission— not Alia’s creation.

Colonel Redips isn’t a new gen Reploid here, but he tried to have that power to himself, but that ended up very ugly to him.

And Lumine. Lumine is her best creation and damn, how I want to redesign his final form! He’s like Lucifer in the original, but with how this reinterpretation is going, I’m making him a Nephelim— Giants that were said to be born after the union of Fallen Angels and the Daughters of man).

Red is a cyborg like Battle Angel Alita, which means: his brain, alongside his spinal cord, is untouched, unlike the rest of his body.

This may seems random, but I wanted a parallel between him and Axl; while he’s a human that people will always believe he’s a Reploid, Axl is a Reploid that the characters will believe he’s a human.

Well, with Axl the Red Alert knows he’s a special Reploid, but No one knows that Red is a human being, (only Axl) (but that’s only because he failed to copy him. Red never told him to not tell anyone, Axl also never told him he knew he was a human, as he had this line of thoughts– “if Red never told anyone, that means he doesn’t want to ruin the mystery surrounding him. I’m not gonna tell a soul father, your secret is secured”).

There’s many rumors around Red; he can’t help himself too, he tells a different story every time someone asks him about his past (like that one guy from Ratatouille. The way he tells it is so convincing that you never know when something is or not partially true. Maybe the story is from a movie, maybe it’s reality, who knows??) (so yeah, the main reason why Axl never told anyone is because that would ruin the fun. Axl is a true one, he would never spoil a movie to anyone).

Aaaannnd… idk, I thought that he hunts down Dynamo here, (and Dynamo will go after Axl too) (Poor Axl, he has the worst “sins of our fathers” in history, because there’s people that Hate Sigma, Red and Alia that will go after him, but little dude did NOTHING 😭✌️); Red can’t be infected by the virus (not sure if that makes sense. But it’s for plot reasons, as I wanted Red and Axl to be a powerful duo Because they can’t get infected. They can go to any missions without that risk, that’s why they’re so respected— they accept any job, even the high risky ones that Reploids refuse and Humans would ask for sky rocket prices); he still considers himself a human being; I thought about the relationship he has with some Red Alert members (Axl is his son, although he doesn’t call him son, nor Axl calls him dad… well, directly. That would be embarrassing. But they still have this father and son dynamic; Wind Crowrang, the first member of the Red Alert, you could say. He’s the closest member to Red, and is as mysterious as him… but doesn’t talk much, unlike Red. The only to people that made him chuckle was Axl and Red; Ride Boarski is the leader of a bike gang, he and Red had a long history, but to cut it short, they fought a lot, but nowadays they have nothing but respect to each other— if Red is in trouble, he can just call, him and his gang will help; Splash Warfly is the least loyal to Red, he’s a ex-Repliforce member, like Soldier Stonekong, but he never really was loyal to anyone but himself. He’s on Red Alert for pure monetary gain and Red knows that).

Dr.Doppler, the Most modified human in history.

Ok. This idea may sound… a little too much. So be prepared; you know the Philosopher Gilbert Harman? The one that came up with the scenario of “what if we are a brain in a vat”?

Yeah. Dr.Doppler is a brain in a jar, but he is the inverse of the trope “the more mechanical you get, the more you lose your humanity”— Dr.Doppler at first seems like those characters that will get hostile at Reploids due to his backstory; he lost his grandchildren to Maverick attacks, he also was attacked in the past and lost his own arm (it would be… “funny” if that trope happened for the Fourth Time. I saw it in I, Robot, then Megaman Fully Charge, then in Transformers Earthspark). But he rationalized and notice that those specific attacks happened not because those Reploids were evil, but because they were infected,

how can you blame someone that lost their minds? (At first he invested on the Hunters, quick and immediate solutions, because of Dr.Cain. He helped Cain a lot, as they are long time friends, but Doppler started to look for a solution that would Take Time, Big Investments, but it would solve the Virus Problem forever). The thing is, Dr.Doppler didn’t have time.

So he fused his mind into a system, that basically would make him live forever. (He’s like Glados, but he did it because he wanted to, and he isn’t conducting questionable experiments).

He still can transfer his consciousness into a Reploid’s body, he still can interact with the physical world when he wants too, but most of the time he’s one with the system and his research.

Gate is a human being because I wanted a human as villain by choice, (Dr.Doppler was infected by Sigma, Red is an antagonist). One human that said: “you know what? Fuck every single Reploid.”

If Alia is MMX “Dr. Light”, Gate is MMX “Dr.Willy”.

Because this idea is very, very new, I thought about it while writing this post actually! I didn’t thought much besides those keys aspects: He doesn’t want to exterminate all Reploids, because at this point, humanity won’t survive without their work, but, he wants to eliminate their Free Will. Some few selected Reploids would be trusted to have free will, but yeah, 99% would have been just mindless slaves controlled by him if he did succeeded.

Dynamo was one of the selected few. He’s not gonna cause the Eurasia Crash in the story, like I said before, the Eurasia is a consequence of the Repliforce War, but he will spread the Nightmare Virus… somehow. Idk how yet.

He did it because “why not? I want power And money.” The world wouldn’t blow up after all, and he wouldn’t be a drone, so yeah, fuck them all, imao. This dude, this guy, after this event would be hated by Every Single Reploid, Maverick, Hunter, Any other Faction.

Dynamo bounty would be the equivalent of Vash the Stampede, like 60 billion dollars or something. (Red almost got him).

Annnnd…. Idk. Same backstory probably, and this will probably be the first time X killed a human (Dr.Doppler sacrificed himself) (And lol, “Rock” killing “Dr.Willy” at their first encounter.
