A Work in Progress:

Getting started on the coloring stage of my Rory Mercury drawing.  Prismacolor Premier art markers on a high-def printout of last week's inking linework scan.

The finishing touches will switch to Copic Sketch markers for the halberd, and then a little digital background filling for the rest, effectively making this a mixed media piece.  The final result will get placed in my DeviantART.com gallery once it's done.

Work in Progress

Rory Mercury of Gate: JSDF.

Penciling phase (partially completed), with histogram adjustment to show the underdrawing sketch that I started out with.  I generally do my underdrawings with a moderately hard lead (2H) and finish the linework with a softer lead (2B/HB).
