Ok so I was at Michaels yesterday, and noticed they were getting on the Pride Bandwagon with this ages 3-and-up gay neightivity kit. A Gativity.
How do it know it's gay, you might ask?
Y'all, rainbow chandelier. Even if it *wasn't* rainbow, prune a chandelier in a stable makes it a Gayble.
Twinkles helped me check to make sure it was all there, and closely monitored my progress.
There were some issues with the design. Tabs not fitting properly, so I had to trim a little, but I don't think they were being intentionally homophobic.
There was also a problem with the roof - I had to tape down the sides because it was adamant about being straight.
Overall, not bad though.
I put the fences way over to the sides because fuck gatekeeping.
I didn't use these parts - I think they were in there to make straight people able to pretend it's just, you know, a unicorn stable. And that sun is just creepy.
So I give it a 6.5 out of 10, and a B+ for effort.
Builders might get frustrated at the poorly-fitted attachment points, and think it's just them. It's not - it was manufactured that way, and some strategic adjustments, trimming back, and reinforcement did the trick.
