With my current story, I’ve been inspired by mythology/old tales recently and I’m thinking of sectioning the story into parts labeled “Prometheus”, “Sisyphus”, “Atlas”, and “Oedipus”

AW YES i love stories inspired by mythology

one of my side wips (gentle as the woods, a sapphic fantasy-ish romance involving a shapeshifter) is based on folklore from a few different cultures, including tam lin (scottish) and the japanese yokai nue. it also takes massive inspiration from OTHER stories that take from folklore, such as princess mononoke and wolfwalkers.
