2013-6-25: Linked by @rajapundalik Raag Gaud Malhar, Pt. Kumar Gandharv. This recording belongs to the era when Kumarji was, perhaps, at his best in all respects! He appeared for a 'Monsoon Special' feature recorded for Doordarshan & anchored by celebrated Marathi poet Vasant Bapat. Thanx to good-ol' DD, we can still experience Kumarji's inimitable expression in 'Amaraiyyan Ke' in all its glory! Especially mark the usage of 'Shuddh-Nishad' in the 'mukhada' (first two lines of the composition) of the bandish - very different, very inspiring! Vidushi Shobha Gurtu was also a part of this feature and can be seen sitting next to Vasant Bapat.
