Long ago, namely in 2020 and 2023, I replied on Art Ask for Gauldoth, one of the protagonists of HOMM IV campaigns.
One of my favourite characters in games ever, unjustly lost and forgotten in time.

Oh-h-h, Gauldoth my beloved... This character is one of the most unconventional necromancers not only in Might and Magic, but in media in general. He is perpetually teetering on the edge of Life and Death, Good and Evil. A living, inquiring mind trapped in a body that contravenes the laws of existence. Both living and dead at the same time. And I absolutely fuckin love his appeals to "Universe", his dry humor, and the philosophical concepts that are woven into his story.
