Hehe! Hi Jade! Um, not creepy but kind of amusing because I had just taken off my nail polish so the frayed edges of it would stop catching on the hair while I was doing the wig. I am glad they still looked OK after that and also laughing that I didn’t even think about how they’d look in the video! They look much nicer now, all fancied up for church (and doll-clothes knitting during Sunday school):
Also, fun fact, I’ve never been much of a girly girl (it was always my sister who was dying her hair and straightening her [and my] hair and playing with makeup [and nowadays she SELLS makeup] and all the girly stuff. Meanwhile, I was reading) but at the start of a school year I tend to Make An Effort(tm). This year the Effort has taken the form of nail polish, lipstick (actually Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon which I like worlds better), and the occasional skirt and even some dresses, which are a hassle with the belly-shots of insulin or I’d do that more often. The experiment has made it into the fifth week of school so I guess I’m enjoying it? I think having my nails polished keeps them out of trouble though - they tend to grow longer and stronger when I’m doing that regularly. Can’t let them get too long, though, with the amount of typing (and also flute playing) I do. So this is actually kind of recently trimmed...
